“I eat at Tacos El Agua Dulce at least twice a week. The women and men on the taco truck are always friendly and attentive. The salsa is garden fresh, spicy and delicious. If you like spicy salsa/chile like I do, pay .50 for a side of the aguacate salsa!!!! I personally pay for 3!!! My top recommendation, are the Al Pastor tacos!! They're juicy, tender, not salty. The tortillas are hot and fresh right off the comal!!! Most Importantly, the food and costumer service is consistently good no matter where they are parked for the day. They're on Knickerbocker during the day, and across the street from the Safeway gas station on Pacific Ave. during the evening/night time. Highly recommended and you will not be disappointed.“

“I've been going to The Mexican for years. The food was top notch with an awesome tequila bar. I went in last Saturday, Dec. 21st, 2024 at 5pm and it was empty. That in itself seemed strange. We got seated. No water. No Chips and Salsa. We received menus and that was why it was empty. You're paying for everything at 25% to 45% more than before with many meals and all Combinations GONE. To get a Taco, an Enchilada with Rice and Beans was $38... That's INSANE... We walked out and sadly will never return... He's the same reason Buffalo Bills was a ghost town at 430pm on a Saturday. Went there the day before and it's the same - prices 25% to 50% higher. Out of 3 popular beers. No milk. Menu changes for the worse. Miss Bill and the good food and great atmosphere that used to be since 1983. Another spot I'll never go back to...“

“The food is good. It's Salvadoranian style food. So instead of tortillas they give you sopes. It's like tortilla but in a thicker way hand made. I ordered the fried fish but they did not have salad dressing for the salad. I think they should buy thousand island at least ?
They do have a small bar and the clamatos look great. You may also dine outside, they have tables and chairs.“

The to-go containers are recyclable. Clean tables with shade to eat next to the truck. conveniently located on University Avenue next to Shell gas station. If you happen to pass the station while going toward Dumbarton Bridge 84, I highly recommend stopping by. Even if you are not hungry take it home or to work. “I got a super burrito with grilled chicken. Size of the burrito was big, ingredients aside from the meat were delicious. However, I ordered grilled chicken and the chicken had absolutely no char, the texture felt like it was boiled and didn’t have an marinade or seasoning on or inside of the chicken.“

“I was glad there was a parking lot with lots of empty spots. As soon as I enter the restaurant I was greeted by the lady cashier and gave me some time to choose from the menu posted in the wall, it was hard to decide because there were items I haven’t tasted before. I decided to go with a mixed plate called Lotería, the plate contained one mini Torta Ahogada, one Taco de Canasta, one Taco Dorado and one Taco de Barbacoa, I paid $18.00 and was given a number on a stand and was invited to seat anywhere. I sat right across of a salsa bar looking over to the patio, the patio had seating for about 50 People, the room blend in with the piñatas and colorful banners with Papel Picado to give it that special fiesta Mexicana theme party. My food arrived on two plates, the torta ahogada had the pull pork look and had the taco dorado right next to it, this two items were plated with a side of sliced cabbage, pickled white onions with small pieces of habanero and pickled red onions, the food was covered by a nice red sauce that you are supposed to sink your torta before you eat, the torta roll had the rich texture as to not to fall apart, the cabbage and onions complemented both the torta and the taco dorado. On the other plate I had the savory Barbacoa with just the right level of spices, the taco de canasta consisted of soft chicharron, the avocado salsa from the salsa bar was delicious and had a bit of heat on it, the other salsa molcajete was spicy hot. Overall it was a nice experience that I will repeat soon“

“Went to try out the Carne Asada fries. Cashier was very accommodating. Allowed me to do my modifications. The guacamole is a bit spicy. But nothing out of the ordinary. Ambience is kinda off because it’s right outside of a liquor store with a bunch of would look like gang members to be hanging out front.
