“Lemon Zest consistently delivers delicious food with the convenience of easy app ordering. Their new location on Reseda is beautifully designed, creating a great dining experience. The portions are generous, offering excellent value for the price. My two kids love the beef lule kebab plate—it’s big enough for them to share, with leftovers to spare. As someone who eats mostly vegan, I really appreciate the variety of plant-based options. I’ve tried the falafel plate, falafel wrap, veggie wrap, and several appetizers—all have been flavorful and satisfying. Highly recommend!“

“The Shadow is my favorite superhero and now my favorite latte. The tots are terrific as well as the spinach dip. The staff are warm and friendly. And I found a super cool new Sherlock Holmes game. “I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

We have tried nearly every boba flavor on the menu & not one has disappointed til today! We have even tried flavors we thought we would not like and we ended up loving. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wish there was more than 5 stars to rate because this business definitely deserves it. Customer service, quality food and drinks, amazing people! Chicken snacks are sooo delicious if you are ever near or local and have not given this place a try. Even if you aren’t local the drive is definitely worth it 💯💕 Super nice and amazing human beings at this shop that definitely serve the best Boba in the valley! I always make the drive because this is the only place we buy our delicious boba drinks 🙏🏻♥️

“Great variety of sandwiches, breakfast and lunch, donuts, drinks with or without bobo, blended or on ice. The drinks are sealed after preparation so you can safely drive without the drink spilling. They have a good selection of bottled and canned drinks, including fresh made vegetable and fruit drinks. I highly recommend this local small business over Dunkin' or Winchell's. I usually get the #1 breakfast sandwich, ham egg cheese on a croissant but I sub the ham with turkey.“

“This is a quaint little Boba spot that's worth checking out special if you also stop by Katsu Ramen or do some grocery shopping at Vons first or after a long hike at Veterans Park. Service was great, kind, and friendly. But the star is the tea. The portions are big and the prices are affordable, on top of that the quality is one of the best. It's a hidden treasure.

“Today, the company I work for, AC Dave Heating & Air, booked us all for a Christmas Lunch. The staff were attentive and very accommodating. There was 21 of us, including family members, and therefore people ordered a variety of dishes. I personally ordered the Portobello mushroom burger, and it was, hands down, one of the best burgers I've ever had. The flavor was out of this world. My colleague had the chicken Panini. She said it was wonderful. We all had a wonderful time there, but I couldn't leave without complimenting the chef. He was thrilled, because the Portobello Mushroom Burger was a brand new addition to the menu. He was so grateful for the feedback. I will definitely be back, and I will bring more friends to experiencing this amazing food.“

Most shudder at the idea, but this coffee is rich and absolutely delicious--- and the strength, which is a relative term, only increases the enjoyment. Starbuck's, for example, is strong, as well, but it can be bitter and harsh. Not so wide WE beans! Quite the opposite. It's a grand place to sit and relax, and the atmosphere is cordial and inviting. It is now our favorite "coffee haunt."“

“On 10/7/2023Came here to try their boba. Right when I entered the store, I felt relaxed from the atmosphere. I liked how you have multiple different options to order (online, at the cashier, or one of the tables)The menu has good variety of selections (smoothies, milk teas, etc). I asked the staff and she recommended me to try having the strawberry coconut smoothie and it was refreshing. I had no idea it would be that BUSSING!The seating was good. I liked how they have claw machines and coin gum candy.Room of improvement: it would be great to have board games (king domino, chess, cards)Thank you for the cool experience.

“Travelled from Nova Scotia, Canada recently for an event. Love hunting down good coffee and good vibes. Rented a car for the day and stumbled on Awkward Coffee. Based on the name alone I knew we had to go. Very friendly staff, great selection of specialty drinks and sweet treats. Got to sample their new strawberry cold foam while we were waiting as well 🫣 I would make the trip from Nova Scotia again just to go back and visit this shop. “My son went here for a job, after interviews they told him to fill out his in boarding paperwork, he did, then they would send him a schedule, never showed up, calls went un answered, they would put him on hold when he called and let him wait and never pick up..he stayed on hold over 40 minutes. How can you be that cruel? If you don't want to hire the kid then fine just tell him. He turned down other jobs waiting for his schedule. This is disgusting behavior. Why on earth would you do this to a kid just trying to do some good honest work.. you sir are a coward!! how do you sleep at night doing crap like that...“
