Been wanting to try this place forever. Hard to get into. Only 7 indoor tables and 3-4 outdoor tables with heaters. Good food at high prices. Unfriendly servers.

This is a very special place. Open for dinner only Tuesday through Saturday reservations are a must. It only seats 8 or 10 parties so it is small and intimate. The food is exquisite. Courses are small but you will want to order a few. The prix fixe menu is a great way to go.

Wonderful birthday meal. Husbands first glance at menu was,”I could eat anything and everything on this menu!” Service was delightful and the Chef came out to say hello before we ordered dessert. We cannot wait to return.

What a gem. Make reservations in advance via the phone. Small, boutique and very intimate atmosphere. Seeing the chef check in and share drinks with customers was amazing. Our servers were extremely knowledgeable and very helpful explaining options and “how” dishes were made. The wine list was unique and made a great pairing. Great location as well.

This is definitely a "one and done" place. It's a very charming little restaurant with a polite but disconnected staff whose attitude comes across more condescending than inviting. Our party had the Shrimp Risotto, Coq au Vin, and one of the lamb dishes. All plates were bland, flavorless, and uninspired. The saving grace was that the portions are skimpy enough so as not to have to put up with too much of the mediocrity of the food. There are FAR better options in the area.

Wonderful small restaurant experience. Wait staff was attentive and welcoming. Food and dessert were amazing. We got the duck and lamb, and the chocolate walnut bar and an apple dessert, all heavenly and clearly hand-prepared with expert care. Prepare for a parking challenge anywhere on the island but it is worth it for this dining gem!

This tiny place is one of the best restaurants in Orange County. I'm going back to try each item on the menu. The food is fresh and delicious, i wish i was there right now. The chef & his son are great too!

This place is adorable and the service was excellent. My husband and I had different opinions of the food based on what we ordered. I had the classic chicken dish with wine sauce and it was delicious- they were even able to make this dairy free for me which is so unique for a French restaurant. However my husband has the shrimp risotto and for 50 dollar dish it was scant and he was still hungry at the end. There was like, 2 Shrimp and the risotto was unfulfilling with barely any sauce or rice. I was disappointed for him.

Came here with family for a birthday, we sat at a cozy corner table in the back. The restaurant has wood interior and low lighting - perfect on a cool spring evening and felt like we were in a Swiss chalet. I had the shrimp risotto (unfortunately they were out of the special- Mediterranean Sea bass) , family members had the duck and the vegetarian pasta. All dishes were delicious and portions were perfect (European-sized). We didn’t have dessert to save our appetite for the famous Balboa frozen banana dessert down the road but we saw desserts at another table and they looked yummy. I was surprised at an extra $6 charge for bread- a few pieces of a baguette and butter- but otherwise we had an awesome dining experience. Also loving the French jazz Spotify playlist playing in the background to lend an additional European ambience. Wait staff was knowledgeable and efficient.
