“I don't normally do Google reviews, but the staff member that helped us on Sunday, 9/1, over the Labor Day Weekend was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and helpful and it seemed like she was cooking, cleaning, taking orders and also had such a gracious attitude. I would come back to this location next time we are in town, just based on this amazing customer service.“

“Had people working at my house Christmas Eve Day and ordered pizza for them online then left to run some errands. I am not technologically incompetent so when I received a call an hour later saying that the pizzas were still at the store awaiting pickup, I almost blew a fuse. As I drove to the place to pick up my hour and a half old pizza, I internally fumed about how a website could not clearly indicate pickup or delivery--which I admit I should have reviewed a bit better at the order summary phase.As I walked into the store trying my best not to lash out at the people working because part of me understood they were just following the instructions given, I gave them my name. I was informed that because the pizzas were old, they had taken it upon themselves to make two fresh ones that would be out of the oven in a minute.Great customer service. I was so impressed with their desire to provide a fresh product that my internal angry dialogue immediately switched to gratitude. Not sure if it's company policy or if this location has quality people working there but it doesn't matter, they made my first review go from furious to complimentary. “I have been going to Wings n Things my entire life. Growing up, my family would always take trips to San Diego and always made it a point to stop by Wings n Things on our way back to Orange County. I was so excited when I heard they were franchising out into Epic Wings and opening up more locations. For awhile, I was making the 1 hour round trip drive to Mission Viejo just to get my favorite wings.
Now I have 3 locations within a 15-20 minute drive, this one being the closest.

I stopped in tonight to pick up some food and was greeted by Daniel
I har a pick up order and wanted to order some extra for lunch tomorrow and he made sure I got my extra points
He told me it'd be about 10-15 minutes so I went and sat back my car to wait and this guy brought my food to me!

Amazing service as I have always had from these locations, but super impressed with the minor gesture of bringing the food out to me when that wasn't expected or necessary at all. Just always 10/10 food and service.“

“Halal spot ; We were on the way to South back home and stop by this restaurant for our light dinner.
I think it’s family owned and the prices are pretty reasonable. The staff were very friendly, and assisted us in ordering. Everything turned out good, they were super nice providing us extra condiments, etc. Be sure to select your spice level wisely cuz we ended up in tears, but we still enjoyed it though.

We hope that we can visit this place again next time we are on the way back from north

“If you’re looking for a trendy twist on Korean cuisine, Chan Chan is a great spot to check out! They offer classic Korean dishes but with modern flavor updates and presentation that’s both delicious and affordable.

Instead of traditional paper menus, you’ll need to scan a QR code at the table or check out the clear, easy-to-read menu on the wall. They keep the options concise, making ordering a breeze.

What I ordered:
▶️ Spicy & Sweet Tuna Kimbap 참치 김밥 – $9.99
The tuna had a creamy texture, wrapped up in perfectly cooked rice and seaweed. The size of each roll was about 1.5 times bigger than your usual kimbap—definitely not a one-bite deal!

▶️ Fried Chicken Tenders 치킨 텐더스 (4-5 pieces) – $13.99
I chose the chicken tenders during their lunch special. These tenders were made with chicken breast, so I felt healthier and lighter. I paired them with sweet garlic sauce (스윗갈릿), which had a hint of mustard and a touch of sweetness—definitely a unique flavor that you won’t find at traditional Korean restaurants, but it was so good!

▶️ Rose Pasta 로제파스타 – $17.99
Rose pasta is super popular in Korea, and even available in convenience stores too! The sauce is a mix of red (tomato) and white (cream) sauces, often available as a pre-made mix at grocery stores (just look for “cream cheese rose sauce”). Every restaurant seems to have their own take on this dish.
In Korea, it’s usually slightly spicy, but although Chan Chan marked it as spicy, I didn’t really taste any. The portion was massive— enough for 2-3 people to share!

The plating here is on point, with thoughtful presentation that’s perfect for photos. Even the dishes and containers have a more modern, stylish vibe compared to typical Korean restaurants.

The banchan (side dishes) were lighter in flavor, with kimchi and pickled radish that weren’t too sour, making them more suited to international palates.

Oh, and a clean restroom is always a bonus for me (yes, I’m one of those people who always checked the bathroom cleanliness! ).

Chan Chan is definitely on my list for a return visit! They also have another location in Irvine.

If you’re craving traditional Korean food, you might have to head over to Garden Grove or a little bit north for more variety, but Chan Chan is a great option for something a little different in the Huntington Beach area.
