Zov's Newport is a neighborhood restaurant and a hidden gem offering Mediterranean cuisine. The covered patio and beautiful dining room provide a great setting, with patio seating also available. The servers are very professional, attentive, and courteous, with a lovely personality and an impeccable sense of humor. The food is delicious and outstanding. Meals include the justifiably famous herbed lentil soup from a three generation family secret recipe, the Moroccan salmon salad, the grilled salmon veggie bowl, the chicken chopped salad, the seafood linguine with lots of squid, shrimp, and clams, and the Garlic Shrimp Kebobs. The Burrata Blistered Flatbread is just to die for. For dessert, the extravagant dulce de leche bombe is a standout. A really good guy plays the guitar while guests eat. Zov's Newport Coast can’t be beat and guests will be returning.
