The leader John makes everyone feel welcome no matter if they’re walking, jogging, or running. Plus I love that run club discount! My only criticism is that I’d like to see the Commander stocked year round; Sacramento doesn’t have enough Belgian ales!“

“Burning Barrel Brewing Co. is easily one of the most exciting breweries I’ve visited—and I’ve visited a lot. The tap list? Insane. Over 20 beers on rotation, from hazy IPAs and crisp pilsners to wild smoothie sours and barrel-aged stouts. I tried a blueberry banana cheesecake sour that tasted like it came straight from a dessert menu. Meanwhile, the “Side Pull Pillows” Czech pilsner was perfectly clean and balanced—proof they do the classics just as well as the experimental. The space is laid-back and welcoming. Plenty of seating both inside and out, misters on the patio for hot days, and dog-friendly! The staff was super knowledgeable and happy to offer recommendations based on what I liked. You can really tell the team here cares about quality and innovation. Also, the service was fast, friendly, and genuinely passionate about beer—which makes a huge difference. Whether you’re into crushable lagers, pastry stouts, or bold fruit-forward sours, Burning Barrel has something that’ll blow you away. It’s the kind of place you want to bring friends to—but also one where you could chill solo and geek out on the beer list. Can’t wait to go back. 🍻“

All there food is amazing and so fresh and delicious and tasty 🤤 it’s so good and worth the drive to go down there to get some great food and they have more then just beer on tap if you don’t drink beer. “The inside and front tables are nice but the back patio is fabulous. No street noise, breezes and sunshine, the perfect place to enjoy a beer. Some nice options on tap, but a usual an inordinate amount of IPAs. Something like 60-75% of the board, which is the trend at the moment for breweries. I had high hopes for the food truck but that didn't pan out. Next door Nepalese restaurant is where it's at.“

“I really wanted to try the vegan fish and chips, my partner Muddy also wanted the same. My son is not vegan and had a burger, but immediately stole on of my "fish". I ended up ordering more because he was trying to steal a second one. Very delicious. All could think of was artichoke in the vegan "fish" but it turns out they use hearts of palm. I took pictures of all the things listed as vegan. I do love Brussel Sprouts and they can veganize it by taking off the bacon. Maybe I will try that next time.“

“I travel for business and have visited MANY restaurants and actually many BJs. Arden is peak in performance for BJs. Amazing friendly staff (Joe was great at my last visit!). Food is always on point. Clean and upkept. This is how a restaurant/brewhouse should be. 😀“

“The venue is unique and the beers are good. The brisket and the half spicy Hawaiian chicken were good but not something I'd make a special trip for. Both of them came out cold as well. The collards were surprisingly good. I'd definitely try them out again and try something else on the menu.“

“I have been here twice during my stay for the CIM Marathon and was told about this place from a bartender across the street at a different restaurant. She said the hamburgers come out perfectly and the fries (or tots!) are hot every time. That is the truth! The burgers are delicious whether you like them plain or with all the fixings. Their beers are great and the staff is kind and attentive. IDK how they got a 3+ star rating, but I would recommend this place to anyone! 5 stars for sure.“
