“Really nice falafels; hot and crispy yet gooey soft in the inside. I am trying to find falafels like I used to get in Toronto Canada, a very diverse city with more authentic foods. So is this the best falafel? I have to say for $14.00 it is not. Although fresh and hot, it lacked flavour, no lovely pickled turnips or pickled onions, only the standard lettuce and tiny pieces of regular jarred pickles. The hummus/tahini was lack lustre, the side of hot sauce helped. Still on the quest to find a more authentic falafel wrap.“

Order arrived super fast. Large fresh bun sucked up the tiny amounts of chili, I expected sloppy amounts so a bit disappointed. Plus 1⭐️ for outdoor bench seating.

“85/100. As a lover of diners, this is probably one of the better ones I've had the pleasure of trying. I went in with pretty average expectations and genuinely enjoyed my meal. Sadly they were out of onion rings when I went to order the Hagen Burger combo (#3), so I wasn't able to have a full experience quite yet but enjoyed it nonetheless!

The burger to topping ratio was perfect, the meat was cooked well though I couldn't discern any specific seasonings from it, and the toppings were all wonderfully fresh tasting; no warm tomatoes or soggy buns here! The french fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, as well as being lightly salted for those worried about sodium. You also get a small drink with free refills on soda, which is a massive plus in my book.

So, why only an 85? There isn't anything particular about this meal that stuck out to me and at $17.98 after taxes, it felt like it was missing something else. Additionally, it feels pretty empty and quiet when dining inside the building when there arent many customers though that might be a plus to some others. My last note brings me back to the meal, specifically the burger. I ADORE a good burger and regularly seek out good restaurants with great burgers, but this just didnt stand out at all. By no means do I think it was a bad burger, I just don't think I'd say its a fantastic one.“

“I visited falafel fusion in Rancho Cordova on a Sunday evening , and the experience was delightful. The ambiance was warm and inviting. The combination kebab platter was the highlight—perfectly seasoned, tender lamb and chicken kebab over rice, paired with fresh hummus and warm pita bread. Service was attentive but not intrusive, and the staff made excellent recommendations. For $19.50 per plate, the portions were generous and satisfying. Me and my 4 years old daughter shared the plate and we had some left over, very generous portions. I highly recommend falafel fusion for a cozy, delicious Mediterranean dining experience.“

“Love their food. Burgers are consistently delicious, and the sauce is awesome. I've been ordering from here since it opened. I have noticed a lot of inconsistency in their ordering/operation times. I can't ever seem to place an order when I want due to the inconsistency. They are supposed to be open at lunch most days but often end up being closed for an extra day or that their ordering starts hours after their website says they are open. This place has so much potential to be better. Please be more consistent in operating hours! I cannot rely on eating here without knowing I'll need to wait hours or even days before I can place an order.“

“Cookie's Drive In is an old fashion hamburger stand. It opened back in 1956 in East Sacramento on 57th and H Street, walking distance from CSU Sacramento's front entrance on J Street. It is awesome that they are still in business after all these years. It is divey, old school.

Their current menu is huge. But the pricing is not. They offer the classic burger in 10 different ways four exotic burgers (ostrich, buffalo, elk, and wild boar), four different kinds of vegetarian burgers, 20 sandwiches (includes pastrami, Philly steak, catfish, salmon) , teriyaki bowls (chicken or beef), shrimp basket, chicken strips, fish n chips, and dessert offerings (frosties, swirlies (aka soft serve), shakes (with malt), freezes, and banana split).

I luved the French fries. They reminded me of McDs. Same size. Crisp, golden fried fries. Fried to the perfect fineness. Touch of salt. Mmm. A small size cost $3.80. The baby burger ran about $5. Solid basic burger. It has chopped lettuce and pickles.The taco $3.80. I enjoyed it and hubs did not. The shell is a fried flour tortilla, he thought the shell and meat was too greasy. I disagreed. The meat was saucy and not greasy. I found the meat to be flavorful, and no not in a fatty greasy flavor kind of way. It had flavor from the seasoning. Sloppy goodness. Same taco, two different perspectives.

This place is take out. Patrons can call in orders ahead of time. Time saver.Expect long waits during peak rush hours They have a few tables outside right along the parking lot, and to the ordering line and folks waiting. It gets awkwardly cozy crowded. Plus another important note is there are no restrooms.“

“This cafe is absolutely excellent. This is our second time staying at the Fort Sutter Hotel and this restaurant is the reason we came back to stay at this hotel. One of the best things that I can say about this cafe is that you can eat there, as we did, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for nearly every day of our trip, and it does not get old. We are not here to sight see and explore and this restaurant allows us to do the things we need to do here and then have food as if we were at home. The food was very clean and light. Nothing on the menu is too exotic to wear on you quickly. The cafe is clean and the staff is friendly. There always seems to be a manager on the floor overseeing everything.

When we came back for our second trip, I just happened to pull up their Google review page and couldn't believe that they only had a 4.2 rating - which I consider unacceptably low. Out of curiosity, I took a look at the lowest reviews to see if I was missing something. Some of the low reviews were from many years ago, and it seems like the restaurant may be under new management. But a lot of the reviews say more about the person leaving a review and the cafe itself. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very friendly. Perhaps there is some merit to the claim that the dishes are slightly expensive - but you get what you pay for. The food is fresh and seems to have higher than usual quality ingredients. This is a cafe - so you order at the register and they bring your food to you. For the quality of the food, the service is quick. But if you are looking for a restaurant for you to wait on you hand and food to make you feel special, then of course this is not the restaurant for you. This is a cafe - not fine dining. We tend to like the cafe service more than having a waiter direct your experience and unnecessarily interrupt you to check to see if you need more water for the 3rd time. The cafe service allows you to enjoy your company uninterrupted.“

“I received a mailer for a FREE chicken sandwich or burger with a $3 purchase. I chose a milkshake but the machine was down.. I joked about it being down due to my BAD LUCK and a very NICE lady double checked the machine for me and said it's still down.. So I got the fry/ onion ring side and a drink. Food was FRESH.. Fries were HOT.. Chicken sandwich was FREE. EXCELLENT customer service and fresh cooked food. I paid about $8 tip included.“

This is a burger and bar establishment. Serves your typical bar food fare (burgers, quesadillas, chicken tenders, etc) I ordered their BBQ burger. If I had to critique anything it would be the portion sizes is a little small BUT it is good. Also glad to see a bar have a mocktail menu. I got the Pineapple Guava Lemonade. Highly recommend. Typical prices for a downtown city area
The atmosphere is fun and the servers are very nice!
Will eat here again if I'm ever back in Sacramento

Our first time there he ordered a burger of some sort and I got the grilled chicken sandwhich in a lettuce wrap. Both were absolutely delicious. Our second time around he got the pesto crepe with fries, and I got the Mediterranean crepe with salad. We both agreed that my crepe was better, despite our love of pesto, but both were good. The fries and salad hit the spot as well, mostly because their ranch dressing is fantastic. Prices were definitely reasonable. I look forward to trying other things on the menu.
