“So I’ve been in contact with cake money since last summer to plan my vow renewal “wedding” taking place in LA.Cake monkey never missed a beat as far as information, guidance, assistance, or execution. I am by far theeee pickiest person and was a bit nervous the entire planning of the wedding due to not physically being in LA until the weekend of. Due to still being on the east coast we could not even conduct a cake tasting. Thankfully cake monkey worked with me and set up a cake tasting packet for my sister in law to have.We fell for two flavors and could not chose 1 (German Chocolate & 9” Choco Malt). We decided to do a mixture of both flavors. When i tell you the day of my wedding the cake was not only simple, elegant yet beautiful (my theme) but ABSOLUTELY delicious. The way they mixed these flavors to where one did not overpower the other, but still gave you a pleasing and addictive want for more was just wonderful. I am very grateful for cake monkey and their professionalism, talent, and patience with how the run their business. Thank you guys very much.“

“Delicious!! Ordered the Pastrami sandwich and the Turkey sandwich. We did half and half on their incredible freshly-baked bread and it was still too much for us both to finish, even though we wanted to. Also got the spinach and cheese croissant, as well as the blueberry and cheese croissant. Delicious as well! The sandwich came with our choice of a soda, and all for a reasonable price. Service was great! Can't wait to go back.“

“I recently discovered this place not too far from my house. Good friendly customer service. Open at 7:30AM. Their Cheese and Spinach Boreks and are not too bad, the cheese boreks tasted just a bit too salty but ok.Lahmajune is pretty good too.“

“Van bakery has the BEST Cranberry Cake. It has an absolutely AMAZING taste. The same cake is also available at other Armenian stores and I definitely recommend it. The staff is very courteous, nice and helpful. I love EVERY single cake and other sweet delights prepared and sold at Van Bakery. They also have a very convenient parking for a quick "in-and-out" stop“

“Super small shop with very limited parking plaza but officially my favorite Guatemalan restaurant in LA! They have dishes you don't typically see around, HUGE selection of baked goods! They also have a mini grocery section!The garnachas are to DIE for!! Chuchitos are very tasty too!
