Beautiful bakery and cafe with delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere! Everything was fresh, tasty, and nicely prepared. The pastries and drinks were excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. A perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. I will definitely come back and highly recommend La Rochelle Bakery & Cafe.
I recently visited La Rochelle Bakery & Cafe with my girlfriends and absolutely loved the experience. I ordered an iced Americano, the coffee was so delicious with a naturally sweet flavor that it didn't need any additional syrups or sweeteners. We also tried the S'mores Pie and the Cheesecake Pie, both of which were perfectly balanced and not overly sweet at all making them the ideal pairing with my coffee. La Rochelle Bakery & Cafe is a local café with an intentional, warm, and genuinely special atmosphere. The indoor space feels cozy and inviting, but the real gem is the spacious, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed back outdoor patio, perfect for lingering with a coffee, having a relaxed lunch, or getting some work done. It is a great spot to come and work or study, with lots of seating inside and outside.
The food and drinks are incredible. The pastries are so delicious and look insane. The menu has lots of options, with sizable sandwiches. The French dip sandwich is hands down one of the best, with perfectly crisp bread, tender meat, and rich, savory jus. The Beca Sandwich is recommended for a big appetite brunch. The blueberry matcha is the best matcha drink, with an immaculate balance of earthy matcha and natural blueberry sweetness. Drinks like the tiramisu iced latte are very tasty. The coffee is ok.
The staff are amazing and have great customer service, being warm, kind, genuinely joyful, sweet, personable, and helpful. Thoughtful touches like self-serve water stations add to the guest comfort. The vibe is generally immaculate, though some note the music can be super loud pop at dance-club-decibels, which feels not thematically cohesive over the serene patio. Also, for those sensitive to smells, there can be a strong and overwhelming air freshener scent on the back patio. Overall, it is a perfect place to experience, with incredible food, standout drinks, a beautiful patio, and service that makes you feel seen and appreciated.
