“So glad my daughter and I stopped here. We each had breakfast burritos and they were excellent. Not only delicious, but big. We both tried the hot salsa and liked it. The atmosphere was very inviting. The service was the best I've received in a very long time. The server was very attentive and sweet. The cook came out and asked if we were enjoying our meal. He was interested in our feedback. We both decided we would be back even though we don't live in the area. It was definitely worth the effort of finding parking. Don't pass this place up
PS, the cook let us try the birria. That's what I'm ordering next time. Yum“

“They have a pretty wide selection of food, and it's cafeteria style. I had the sausage and egg breakfast burrito and a tortilla soup. The tortilla soup was really good and the burrito was okay, but it's very affordable, especially for this area. Parking is all the way in the back, and you will see reserved spots for the restaurant. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, and there is plenty of seating.“

“Mom and pop shop. Great food, only reason I'm giving it a 4 is that really skimp me on the guacamole. I saw that they didn't have any left yet they literally scraped the bottom of the barrel to give me two little tiny containers. I could tell they added green salsa to compensate because it was runny and had too much lime to it. I would have had no problem that they had no guac but they gave me scraps instead...“

“Love these burritos! I've been going here for decades. They consistently deliver the best burritos. I get the chicken burrito with rice, beans and cheese. Their chicken is deliciously stewed with onions and tomatoes - it might be a tinga?? I usually don't like beans, but these are delicious pinto beans that aren't a smooth mush but have a lot of body. The cheese is so good - perfectly melty and silky. Their salsa is an nice, medium hot, roasted tomato without an overbearing smokiness. I've never had another chicken burrito that was on this level. “Stayed at the hotel next door and decided to try this place out. Staff was very friendly. Ordered fajitas, flan, chips and salsa. Chips were fresh. Salsa was really good, had a nice kick! The fajitas were amazing! Had chicken and shrimp mix and the sauce they cooked it in was fantastic! Food was very hot and freshly made. Enjoyed it with my Mexican Coke. Perfect! Finished it all off with a flan. Creamy and sweet. Highly recommend this place and will seek it out next time I’m in town!“

“I am vegan. When my family lived in North Hollywood Leonor's was my go to restaurant. It was one of the few restaurants that my entire family would frequent. We used to eat there before it was Leonor's (we are talking 1970s). I think in 1980s Leonor became the owner... I don't know who owns it now... if it is someone in the family or not.. however, the food is great. I miss it. It's been a while. When this heatwave in Los Angeles cools off I will go and order lunch... Hopefully I recognize a face or two.“

“Was in the mood for tacos and this spot came in clutch! They were open earlier than their competitors! The customer service was great! Loved the variety of salsas. They don't dress the tacos but do the burritos! I also liked the fact that they use whole pinto beans instead of refried! They also take venmo! Give them a visit.
FYI -(no Ambiance) They are located on the side walk next to Target, you wont miss them. Lastly, they do have an insta so follow them for more info“

“After eating twice from here I can definitely say the food is delicious. My wife ordered through Uber eats both times. I've so far tried the burrito delicious, the tacos delicious, and the gordita very delicious but very spicy. I haven't gone to the restaurant yet but I definitely love their prices and food so far. “Been coming here for over 20 years. The food is consistently delicious (pozole is my favorite and all the caldos as well as birria) but what has always been a hit and miss is the service. It’s mostly unfriendly & welcoming of customers especially who consistently have been loyal. This afternoon’s was an example. There wasn’t a warm welcome to a familiar face…it was “what are you picking up?” Ok whatever I’m used it. What bothered me is I asked for the salsa that’s provided for the pozole for my chicken soup. The lady said it would be .55 cents. Really? I mean you already charge an extra 75 cents for credit card transaction & provide unfriendly service. No consideration for loyal customers. No thank you. I’ll just use own homemade salsa.

Next time I think of chicken soup for my sick daughter I’ll go to La Maria Restaurant (down the street) who has a good chicken soup, better service, and doesn’t nickel and dime.“

Got to say the reviews are on point and the food is really good, we both got bacon cheeseburgers with fries which were cooked perfectly as well and on point. “Excellent carne asada. That's all I've had so far: Carne asada nachos (no beans) & carne asada burrito with meat, sour cream, cheese only. Add the hot sauce as I go. Mild has a subtle heat to it. I prefer the slightly spicier green sauce made with tomatillo for that slightly sour vibe with a good level heat. Guacamole is also decent. Open late, with a drive through, which is great! Have come back twice more for a cheapo burrito less than $10, as it should be. Fast ordering, faster execution and order fulfillment. Loving this place!“

“This is Mexican food. Nothing special. Green salsa has a weird taste to it. We ordered a lot of food. I got a Lengua burrito with queso. Halfway through my burrito I noticed there was no cheese in it. I let the girl know that, hey I paid for cheese and I didn’t get any. She said she would remake me another burrito. I told her that it was OK. I’m already more then halfway through it. She said it’s ok. I remake, you can eat it for later. So the service is why I’m giving 4 stars.“

“If you want a quick, cheap, no grills and delicious, street style taco fix on this side of the border in NoHo, Sandy's is your place. Buche, cabeza, tripas, al pastor, you name it, they probably have it. I usually get those three and it sets me back $15 for 7 tacos. They are not that big so depending on your appetite, you might need more. I usually eat that in 2 servings. Oh btw, "cash" only!“
