“It’s 6:40 on a Saturday night and I’m alone in this taco shop. I can’t understand that. Maybe it’s a K-town secret.
The food has excellent flavor. I ordered the carne asada bowl. The crunchies in top are special. It’s delicious, but the steak is a little chewy. It’s a lot of food for a reasonable price. The red salsa is super tasty, but use caution with the yellow salsa. She’ll make you cry.
I’ll probably come back tomorrow and order the chicken.
The employers are sweet. The shop is clean.“

“We've been meaning to go here since it opened and finally made it with a family member visiting from Michigan. Everything was fantastic including the drinks, seafood, and chips/guac. We plan to visit more frequently! The best part of our dining experience was when the staff reminded to go outside at the perfect time to view the lunar eclipse!“

“I just had a great meal at Sweet & Spizy in Los Angeles! The burrito is an absolute monster! It’s Mexican and is a meat restaurant! Portions are huge. And they give free chips and guac!“

“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in all of San Juan Capistrano. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is delicious and not overpriced. The Happy Hour is the best deal around. You get so much food and drink for so little price. The service is absolutely the best. I HIGHLY recommend this place!“

“Red chilaquilles were delicious. Green chilaquilles were okay. Bit dry. Not enough sauce. Taco de chicharon was good. Coffee tasted okay. Service was so slow even though the restaurant was about 1/4 full. Took 15 mins for the waiter to bring the coffee and tea. The food took longer. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was nice. Prices higher than a normal Mexican restaurant. Not sure if I'd come back.“

“I've been wanting to go a Trejo Taco place, and we picked this since it was near our place for the week. We had an extra special visit because Danny Trejo was there eating dinner with family and friends for a celebration. We didn't bug him, but it was cool seeing him. He even helped the staff out and delivered food to some tables.“

“Amazing food! Made to order, clean and beautiful dining area, excellent customer service. Tacos Al pastor, tacos de chicharrón, gorditas Xochipilli, chilaquiles, a few of my favorites. The best spot in the valley for authentic Mexican food.“

“Genuinely have the sweetest staff I’ve ever met, they’re such welcoming people! I always get their super fries which are so delicious. I would definitely recommend trying them. One of my constant cravings, I always go back.“

“Wilmer was our bilingual cashier that was friendly, knowledgeable & awesome! We practically bought one of everything & it was all great. Weather was great, we ate on their outside covered patio that is decorated & has very sturdy tables. Definitely recommend“
