“We are avid Cioppino makers, making it at least 10 times a year. While visiting our favorite family pizzeria, Miner Moes, we found out they make their own sauce! To say we were stoked is an understatement! We decided to create a lazy man’s Cioppino the very next day (no shells). We only added fresh lemon and parsley to taste, and I have to say it was fantastic! It felt like we were in the San Francisco Bay at a restaurant!“

“I highly recommend the Stone House for an evening of great food, drinks, and music. The staff are welcoming and the new menu is amazing. The chef has a great culinary vision of bringing farm-fresh ingredients to the table in interesting and sharable ways! I am THRILLED to have a restaurant in Nevada City that provides delicious vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options - this has been much needed in this charming town! “I have always liked the Papa Murphy's pizza. I usually get a family sized thin crust with just pepperoni. I get 2 marinara sauces, then I go to my local market to get some linguica sausage and other fresh veggie ingredients, grate some pecorino romano cheese, then put it altogether and bake it. It makes an excellent pizza and I don't have to pay $35. Papa Murphy's probably isn't happy hearing that I just use their pizza as a base for an even better pizza. But really, that is a compliment to their dough and sauce.“

“It was our anniversary 51 years by the way. My family was met as we came in by Lacie with a big smile and a hug. We recommend everyone try nourish on there next night out either a couple or a family. Nourish was so family friendly that everyone was put in a place that rarely exists. The starters were good and plenty of them. Ours was soybean pods still hot and juicy. My choice for supper was outstanding and so so fresh. I tried a new sushi role. Lacie was so busy just like everyone and always checked on us. I give our experience was well above and beyond. My wife, my grandkids, my great grandkids and of course myself had such a great time. It was a 10 plus time.“

“I am a big fan of El Favorito, which to me is the best Taqueria around. I find the food delicious and satisfying, the prices reasonable, and the well supplied salsa bar joyful. The staff is nice and the Futbol frequently on the TV is perfect. Thanks El Favorito!!“

“hands down one of the best cafes in the county and best cafe on a ridge in the world. Best juevos rancheros in or out of town. Favorite smoothie is the aloha w/ spirulina.I just had the best sandwich I’ve ever had here and I’ve lived on the ridge for ten+ years, it’s called the SEAN JUAN breakfast sandwich.In house pesto spread on fresh focaccia with tofu instead of the egg, avocado as the choice of protein, onions, local heirloom homegrown tomatoes, and melted cheese of your choice.vegan chipotle mayo on the side ?“
