“Every other store is at least 20 minutes the wrong direction, and then you have to drive all the way back in one lane traffic. The convenience is amazing compared to the unnecessary driving. Obviously, it caters to the Mexican cuisine, fresh veggies and some of the biggest avocados around or buy a freshly made pint of guacamole. The deli menu is scrumptious. The breakfast burritos are my daughter's favorite. You can literally park right next to the front door. The staff is ready & helpful and you know how rare that is these days. Yes, I said a lot of nice things because I shop there frequently. Lots of cold drinks, no booze but that is handled a few steps away at the neighboring store.“

“I’ve been here a few time and it’s time for a review. My usual food,this review is based on is the Cabeza and Lengua burritos. The meat doesn’t have the old meat taste, like I’ve had in other spots. The customer service is great and that’s what completes their five star review. Keep doing it the way you’re doing it, don’t take short cuts and your business will continue to thrive.“

“My husband and I moved to Nuevo almost 2 years ago now and have gone to El Comal almost weekly since moving here. The food is delicious and the people treat you like family. Its our comfort spot. By far the best camarones a la diabla ive ever had!“

“We stopped in here on Labor Day after a day at the water park and it was absolutely delightful! Alhandra greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and was so sweet and friendly! We were very indecisive on what kind of ice cream we wanted because they have an incredible selection to choose from! She offered us taste samples of what we debated on and was very patient with us while we couldn’t decide! We narrowed it down to the queso ice cream and it was honestly some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. My son loved this ice cream shop and we will definitely be coming back here again! “Yay! After hearing how good the food is and how friendly the staff is, I finally got to try out their Chili Verde Omelette, this morning. It was the BEST I have had. “This is my favorite Rubio's mostly because of the staff that work there. We are regulars and they are all so friendly and accommodating. The food is always fresh and they get the orders correct on the 1st try. I love that the menu changes periodically so you can try new things. They have good deals and reasonable prices. Easy parking, inside and outside seating and clean and tidy. Special shout-out to the manager Jorge and the assistant manager but they have all been amazing to us over the years. Keeps us coming back. I love this place!!!“

“We have came to this restaurant since the late '80s and it always has excellent service. Excellent food and excellent atmosphere!
I have found one dish that I really like and it's like no other restaurants The carne asada dinner it is so good!

Their food is better than Chipotle and made fresh. I had the shredded beef salad 10/10! My daughter had the shredded beef tacos and ate every last bite. They also had a full station for drinks: house made horchata/aguas frescas/syrups/soft drinks etc. Thank you!“

“Was looking for a good fish tacos place nearby and these fish tacos were great! Some of the best I've ever had. Toppings and sauces all flavorful. The red and green salsas were great with green being my favorite. I also got a shrimp cocktail and though the flavor of the cocktail itself was good. The giant shrimp at the bottom didn't have much flavor and for 20 bucks for that alone I expected more. The area is a little sketchy too which made me take my order to go. All in all I really enjoyed the fish tacos at least and would go back for that alone.“

I've eaten pupusas before at other restaurants and they were dry and too much dough not enough filling. I had a cheese and jalapeño pupusa and it was DELICIOUS!
