“As usual, El Unico never disappoints. My husband is diabetic, and has to watch his carbs. They offered to make him a carnitas burrito in a bowl, basically the burrito minus the tortilla. We brought it home, and he used the carb friendly ones, and the El Unico fix was complete! The burritos ? a gigantic, you definitely get your money's worth. My husband has been getting food from here since the original gentleman started this place, when it was just barely a shack. I started 35 years ago, and it was barely much more than that. The food, the atmosphere, and everything else that makes a place magical, still exists here, in this place. Now, I bring my adult son, and his friends, as well. Thanks, from my family to yours, for continuing with the impeccable service, food, and family feeling that was started so many, many years ago.“

“I really wanted to like this place, because the food was really good. A girlfriend of mine and my 9 year old son visited here on Tuesday around 4pm. We walked in, we're immediately greeted and sat in a comfy booth, noticing the very unique artwork and decor. Pros: The Cadillac Margaritas on the rocks were very good. Ordered to start the guacamole and chips, was very tasty. We shared the Main Lobster Puerto Nuevo Style, the cook level was on point, and the seasonings were delicious. Now we were told it's 2 lbs of meat, which was definitely not the case. The cost for how much meat, I would say, is not worth the price at $95 an order. My son had grilled chicken tacos that he said were good. And we all appreciated the little churro ice cream dessert I received for a special birthday surprise. Cons: On a 1-10 level of volume, the music was at a 9, for 4pm on a Tuesday, it felt like they were trying to turn the place into a dayclub. Just seemed unnecessary to have it that loud. We could barely hear each other across the table. After sitting a while listening to the music, I would absolutely never bring my son back here. A couple of songs passed as we sat, where every other word was N$gg@#, F@$k, or other explicit words. Some may not agree, but I'm only 38 and find that highly inappropriate for a restaurant. Now, if that's the ambiance you want to have in your restaurant, no argument, however, then make it a 18 and up place or post something stating children may not be the best audience for your restaurant. We even made a comment to our waiter, and he just smiled and said, "Ya, there's a lot of songs like that we play!" and walked off. Our service was definitely less than stellar with him, let me tell you. As we walked in, we stated it was our first time. Anytime we asked a question, before we could finish our question, we were cut off and met with a very dismissive, hasty response as he would be walking away as well. It felt as if we were offending him or he just had more important things to do. Their menu is very confusing, as we were trying to figure out the taco pricing (since it was Taco Tuesday). The service from our waiter, I would say, was a 1 of 10. He was not friendly (even though he smiled) his demeanor was uninviting and sometimes condescending. In the end, thankfully, we had another young lady who was taking care of us. She was very sweet and pleasant as we commented on our concerns she stated she would let the manager know. In understanding, it's not her fault, we would've told our waiter. However, he disappeared after we received our food. All in all, this place has good food, but it is not good enough for us to spend almost $200 for horrible and condescending service.“

“I had not been here in some time. I usually go to the temecula restaurant. I was very surprised how good the food was. Great service as well. Will be going back.

Parking: They are doing work around downtown so it can be a bit of a pain.“

“Hands down, best tacos nearby. The Quesa Birria plate is an absolute must try, served with their consommé. Make sure to ask for their Chile De Arbol salsa on the side if you like spicy! It is the perfect pairing.

We have also had their Tacos de cabeza, tripas and lengua and have found them very delicious and a generous portion. You don’t need to order a ton to be satisfied.

Their spiked agua Fresca is also a must try! Sooo good!!

“This place is the best tacos I’ve had in Southern California. Small hole in the wall but the best tacos. Their al pastor was marinated perfectly. Their Micheladas absolutely delicious. We don’t live in the area anymore but whenever we roll by this place we try to stop. Staff is super friendly. This is how tacos should be made!!! Salsa is ? ?“

“Can't wait to go back! What's not to love? Vero is clean with a spacious variety of seating arrangements for everyone from romantic snuggles to watching the game. Service is prompt and friendly. The menu is varied and huge; and the food: fresh and delish; great prices, too. Yep, I'm definitely going back!“

“Alright, first, real talk, the chicken hard tacos are fire, I recommend popping em in the microwave for 50 secs and GG, melts the cheese perfectly and they're just hot enough to not burn the hell out of your mouth, but you wanna eat em right after or they'll obviously get soggy from the oil and fall apart. I can't speak for their other food though, all I can say is the other location can't make Mexican food for s*** other than tacos, but I don't know if it's the same case here I'd be scared to chance it tbh lol. Now this may be false because I haven't eaten at both locations side by side on the same day, but the chicken here did seem to be more fresh and moist and that's surprising considering I got there just before closing so it had to have been sitting there all day and the worst of their scraps and I couldn't tell, so credit due.

Second, two reasons to come to this location over their other one. 1.) it's open later. 2.) customer service is nicer, I don't mean like they were especially friendly or anything just that the chick who takes orders at the other location is a b****.“

“Juan's Rotisserie Chicken is one of best chickens, but the customer service is bad. I ask for 2 burritos with fres meat the guy that makes it gave an attitude like if I was asking to give it to me for free. I end up paying for a whole chicken for fresh meat burritos“

“Food was great! Best salsa bar and taste, authentic mexican flavor, great job with that! They have restrooms, clean tables, beer, Horchata, Tamarindo, Jamaica and plenty other soft drinks. “So I have been going to McGells since it has opened in many locations throughout the inland empire. Today I was beyond disappointed with the service and the quality. Me and my mother-in-law went for lunch today. We decided to go ahead and dine in outside given the drive thru was beyond long. We went inside and there was absolutely no line but we still waited 20 minutes for food which we had a total of four items. I had ordered just a simple bean and cheese burrito with extra cheese and she had ordered Two tacos and we got some chips and guacamole. The guacamole had absolutely no taste which I was pretty disappointed. My mother-in-law‘s tacos were completely soggy and we’re not hot we’re she didn’t even really want to eat them. Then I opened up my burrito and asked him or surprise the beans were not even hot and the cheese was not even melted at all. I was thoroughly unimpressed because this is a brand new location and obviously temperatures are not being met which worries me for bacteria growth. The staff wasn’t very polite on top of it all and seem to have no personality honestly. I’m not one to ever write reviews. But, I have been going to these locations as I’ve said since opening. I hope that they step their game up soon because there soon to lose my business and people that I know also that have the same experiences with their food quality lately.“

And the set up was also awesome before I knew it the food was gone I couldn’t even go back and get seconds. Will definitely hire for every party if they are available.
