“My favorite place for chilequiles! So much food for great price. Forgot to take a picture before I started eating because its just so good! Chilequiles are in strips which are so much easier to eat too. My hubby got a torta and they gave it to him in a heart ❤️.“

“Every other store is at least 20 minutes the wrong direction, and then you have to drive all the way back in one lane traffic. The convenience is amazing compared to the unnecessary driving. Obviously, it caters to the Mexican cuisine, fresh veggies and some of the biggest avocados around or buy a freshly made pint of guacamole. The deli menu is scrumptious. The breakfast burritos are my daughter's favorite. You can literally park right next to the front door. The staff is ready & helpful and you know how rare that is these days. Yes, I said a lot of nice things because I shop there frequently. Lots of cold drinks, no booze but that is handled a few steps away at the neighboring store.“

“I have been meaning to visit this play some 10 years ago... Maybe back then, it would been a great experience, however, the place looks a bit run down and needs a major renovation.
However, the food was good and beer was cold...
A really nice and relaxing atmosphere nonetheless.“

“We stopped in here on Labor Day after a day at the water park and it was absolutely delightful! Alhandra greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and was so sweet and friendly! We were very indecisive on what kind of ice cream we wanted because they have an incredible selection to choose from! She offered us taste samples of what we debated on and was very patient with us while we couldn’t decide! We narrowed it down to the queso ice cream and it was honestly some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. My son loved this ice cream shop and we will definitely be coming back here again! Thank you Alhandra for being so kind and welcoming to me and my family????❣️“

“Yay! After hearing how good the food is and how friendly the staff is, I finally got to try out their Chili Verde Omelette, this morning. It was the BEST I have had. “This little gem has never let me down. Always fresh good food, staff is very attentive, the music is always bumping. The El chapo burrito is top tier, but my favorite is the Surf n Turf nachos, but you have to eat them there, or the chips will get soggy. Chill, have a beer, and enjoy“

“What a gem, I drive past here all the time and I just always wondered about their food. Their name is hilarious!! I came in and was greeted with such a warm smile and great service. I ordered a carne asada quesadilla , as well as a kid friendly mini taco with a side a rice now it was authentic mexican rice, and the burrito oh man it was huge a monster and overall so fresh and hot and delicious. Their salsa was amazing I had to try them all , recommend the dark red, and their grilled jalapeños were so spicy I cried, so much flavor and washed it all down with a beer. Definitely will be back just a great lil place. So clean and joyus with music overall great experience.“

“This is my favorite Rubio's mostly because of the staff that work there. We are regulars and they are all so friendly and accommodating. The food is always fresh and they get the orders correct on the 1st try. I love that the menu changes periodically so you can try new things. They have good deals and reasonable prices. Easy parking, inside and outside seating and clean and tidy. Special shout-out to the manager Jorge and the assistant manager but they have all been amazing to us over the years. Keeps us coming back. I love this place!!!“

“Had a great experience! The food was really good, especially the menudo, which was full of flavor and tasted homemade. The nachos were loaded and fresh, and the steak was cooked perfectly and very tender. Everything came out hot and well prepared. Even the orange juice was freshly made in-house, which made it even better. Definitely a spot I would come back to!“

Their food is better than Chipotle and made fresh. I had the shredded beef salad 10/10! My daughter had the shredded beef tacos and ate every last bite. They also had a full station for drinks: house made horchata/aguas frescas/syrups/soft drinks etc. Thank you!“

They have asada, carnitas, cabeza, and more—but buche was new to me! The cashier even let me try it for free, and it was sooo good. Definitely ordering that next time 🤤

They’ve got a salsa bar too, so you can pick your spice level. I played it safe with the tomatoes and the green one (aka the not-so-spicy one lol).

They even let me use the restroom which is kept clean. It's only a cash establishment but if you don't have cash you can zelle them. I drove about 25 minutes and left happy. Gets busy. Will definitely return to try other dishes. Good portions too.“

“This was our first time. Although it was the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday the place was very busy. Staff didn't always speak English but they quickly found someone who did. The food was excellent and we were well taken care of. Definitely worth going back. Surprised to learn they have been open almost 10 years but until they started to list on OpenTable we had no idea.“
