“Live so close to this restaurant and it never called out to me before, until today. It was an enjoyable experience, nice and quiet, with very nice service. Food was delicious that even my 2 year old said mmm on his first bite. All in all I’ll be returning to this restaurant and look forward to tasting other options they have.“

“Every other store is at least 20 minutes the wrong direction, and then you have to drive all the way back in one lane traffic. The convenience is amazing compared to the unnecessary driving. Obviously, it caters to the Mexican cuisine, fresh veggies and some of the biggest avocados around or buy a freshly made pint of guacamole. The deli menu is scrumptious. The breakfast burritos are my daughter's favorite. You can literally park right next to the front door. The staff is ready & helpful and you know how rare that is these days. Yes, I said a lot of nice things because I shop there frequently. Lots of cold drinks, no booze but that is handled a few steps away at the neighboring store.“

“I have been meaning to visit this play some 10 years ago... Maybe back then, it would been a great experience, however, the place looks a bit run down and needs a major renovation.
However, the food was good and beer was cold...

“We stopped in here on Labor Day after a day at the water park and it was absolutely delightful! Alhandra greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and was so sweet and friendly! We were very indecisive on what kind of ice cream we wanted because they have an incredible selection to choose from! She offered us taste samples of what we debated on and was very patient with us while we couldn’t decide! We narrowed it down to the queso ice cream and it was honestly some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. My son loved this ice cream shop and we will definitely be coming back here again! “Yay! After hearing how good the food is and how friendly the staff is, I finally got to try out their Chili Verde Omelette, this morning. It was the BEST I have had. The restaurant was busy when we stopped by, so there was a bit of a wait for our food, but it was worth it once it arrived. The overall experience was very enjoyable, and the lively environment made it a fun place to dine. “I always get the fish tacos they are amazing. If you go on a day thats not taco Tuesday you get them for much more. Be aware of that. The staff are awesome and the food they make is delicious. Adobada Tacos: The absolute highlight. We were seriously surprised by how flavorful these were, and they do not skimp on the portions—very well served!

Carne Asada Tacos: A bit lacking in flavor compared to the adobada, but still a pretty solid option overall.

Drinks & Atmosphere:
The place itself was noticeably clean, and the staff provided very nice, welcoming service all around. If you are a fan of aguas frescas, they have a great selection here (though we opted out of trying them this time). Just a heads-up for soda lovers: their fountain/soda options are pretty limited.

We will definitely be back for more of that adobada! Highly recommend giving them a shot.“

“My First time There. The atmosphere was very good and we all lived the music that they played. The food was unforgettable. I even tried the calamari for the first time and it was Awesome. The employees were very helpful and considerate and very respectful. They even added a little humor to the conversations that we had. I rather give this restaurant a 100 stars. But I can only give 5 stars. We are definitely going again. Thank you Kalaveras for making my family and Mom very Happy.

“I was amazed with the great service, the friendly employees and the cleanness of this restaurant, we came in and we were greeted not just by one of the employees but by a few of them, then I asked for a towel to dry a wet spot on a table outside and they insisted that they would do it and immediately they went and cleaned the entire table and the bench, the food was delicious and the entire staff was very helpful and very friendly.
