“Have dined at Pearl District many times over the years for special occasions or just a nice evening out. It's always consistently delivered in great customer service and quality food. Offers great drink options and also an extensive wine list (by the glass or bottle). Some of the standout dishes are the "pan roasted wild mushrooms", "braised short ribs", filet mignon & branzino. For dessert the "wonder bar" is a must!“

“I had a wonderful stay at Malibu Beach Inn! The hotel facilities were truly exceptional. The location right on the beach is absolutely stunning, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking. The rooms themselves are elegantly decorated and extremely comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights of the stay was meeting Realda. She was the most gracious host and her attention to detail was incredible. She kindly upgraded our room as it was my sisters birthday, we had a cake in the room along with a sweet birthday card. She packed up a bag of towels and freshly baked cookies we could enjoy on the beach. She was amazing! Malibu Beach Inn exceeded my expectations in every way, providing a luxurious and unforgettable beachfront experience. “I did the takeout but I had to have the Pinot pasta with sausage but the chicken dinner which I wish I could remember the name of that special someone ordered? Was one of the best meals I’ve ever seen in my life and ever eaten… I had to have a bite of hers lol! The penne pasta with sausage was beyond yum!“

“We randomly came across Lazy Dog Restaurant driving through Thousand Oaks on our way to Big Bear on the 4th of July weekend. We wanted to get some real food and a beer.

We parked in the parking lot across the street which had a fair amount of available parking.

We were able to get a seat right away. Service was quick and friendly. The menus are cool (leather wrapped). Tons of good food options. Good size meal. Pricing is very fair for the portion and quality.

We wanted to try a new beer and tried the Huckleberry Haze IPA and it was amazing. We ever got a 4 pack to go (yes they even sell it canned)! This beer was SO good that we HAD to stop back while driving home from Joshua Tree for lunch and of course, more of the Huckleberry beer. They also have a lunch special, a half sandwich, and a salad and other side like fries for around $12.“

“We had such a great experience at Urban Plates! The food was fresh, delicious, and came out quickly. The service was truly above and beyond. Haden, Shira, and Cynthia were all amazing—super friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcomed. It’s rare to find a team that takes such good care of you, but they absolutely did. “I've been riding my bike here since the early 70's. Even back then it was a biker hangout on weekends but most especially on Sundays. Now days it still is but a whole lot bigger.
You'll see every kind of bike here on a Sunday. From choppers, to dressers, to crotch rockets, to enduros, mopeds and even rocket propelled bikes that Jay Leno sometimes rides here on.
The canyons here are my favorite. While I no longer drag my knees through the turns as I use to, I still enjoy cruising on them.
Please be careful and stay well inside your lane when riding here because it is a race track on Sundays and as such you'll see other riders often times drifting outside their lanes and coming right at you at a high rate of speed. Also keep an eye behind you as you'll have others trying to pass you. I advice you stay out of their way, and let them by. Unless of course you're racing in which case they'd have to work their way past me.
Bottom line is I highly recommend any biker to visit this place at least once in their life. Definitely something that should be on your bucket list.“

“Amazing experience!! The VW tour was magnificent, everything was perfect! The wine tastings (2 whites, 1 rosé and 2 reds) were delicious! We even had a very good quality snack with cheese, sausages, chocolate, olive tapenade, crackers and honey! Our guide was just incredible and super friendly (big up to Jonatan)! The experience is really worth the price and I highly recommend it if you are passing through Malibu ✌?☀️“

“Lemmo's grill is a new find for me. What a great place! We were greeted and seated quickly. The food was fantastic and the service was perfect. Calamari was awesome and the marinara sauce that accompanied it was a wonderfully rich and complex. Ordered steak medium rare.....and it was medium rare. It was seasoned perfectly and delicious. The people may have been the best part. Family owned and operated the owners were present, helpful and extremely nice. if you are looking for a big chains and mediocre service and food. Give this place a shot. You will not be disappointed!“
