“Makara Restaurant was a great experience. I ordered the jalapeño roll, which was delicious with just the right amount of spice. For an appetizer, I had the gyoza potstickers, and they were very good. The presentation was nice, and the service from the owner, Jason, was excellent. Highly recommend!“

“I LOVED this place. Very comfortable vibe. I think we went on a Friday and it was super mellow, food wasn't outrageously priced and was decent quality. STRONG drinks and great beers on tap. Really cool little local spot. I thoroughly enjoyed myself here.“

“Oakdale, if you haven't tried this place yet you are missing out!! Who would have guessed that there would be really good Vietnamese food in Oakdale?!?! This place is a little hole in the wall, nothing fancy, but the food is great and the people are nice. Go there now.“
