“One of the best halal Middle Eastern food spots I've ever tried! The flavors were incredible authentic, rich, and perfectly balanced. The grilled meats were juicy and tender, the rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the hummus was unbelievably smooth. The service was friendly and made the experience even better. If you're looking for amazing halal food, this place should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended!“

“Got out of Oakland Zoo and found this place next to a liquor store but the food is deceptively tasteful vs the neighborhood. We order 2 gyros and a lamb bowl. Besides the ample portion, the meats (lamb, steak and chicken) are well marinated and tender. The lamb is not gamy at all. The fries that come with the order are so seasoned such that ketchup would actually ruin it.

Will definitely revisit next time I visit the zoo.“

“It's de bomb. No but for real this food hits the spot whenever I'm in SF, I think either my Afghan friends or some chill random dude at SFO told me about it but either way I made it a habit to go out of my way to get this excellent food once a year when I'm down in SF. Really perfectly spiced, comforting food, nice people.

Vegetarian options: The Vegs are good and you'll have veg entrees to choose from, I think their roasted meat is the must-have though so I'll say they have options but it's not why I go here.
