“I visited for lunch on Christmas Eve, and it was quiet (which was fine to me). I had the mixed kabob platter and tried some of the lamb shank and beef qurma. The food was very good, and service and atmosphere were just fine. If you like Afghan cuisine and are in the area, consider having a meal here. The lunch menu prices are good values considering Saffron Kitchen has tablecloth covered tables and wait service.“

“Amazing kebabs for a great price! For $18 you get enough for two people with leftovers. We tried the chicken and the lamb and they were both amazing. The kebabs come with a large serving of delicious rice, a pita, a cooked tomato and a salad.

Takes about 20 minutes to come out and there is no seating inside, but it was completely worth the wait!“

“I ordered the falafel salad and an appetizer similar to dumplings. The appetizer was excellent and reminded me of Cincinnati chilli but as a dumpling. The Falafel salad was was ok. It's likely better as a wrap. I'd eat here again.“

“Sashi Singh my pal from down in Stillwater Canyon was in the city and invited me to dinner in this Afghani Restaurant he found. Well, I haven't had camel hump in years, so I said sure! We met up at De Afghanan Kabob House and had a great dinner. I have no idea what we ate because Sashi ordered for us, all I know is it wasn't organ meat, and it tasted pretty good. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆“
