“I stopped by to see a buddy from work band play. The atmosphere was nice but I didn't buy any food. Parking was hard to find within a block so I had to park 3 blocks down which wasn't an issue for me other than I was running late to see my buddy and his band perform.“

“Seriously going to miss this place a lot. The punk shows at night were always fun and energetic. During the day, it was an excellent spot for all sorts of groups to meet up ranging from baseball teams to Polaroid camera nerds. This combination of seamlessly encouraging such different kinds of passionate people reflected the culture of SF pretty accurately. They held onto an independent spirit without settling on specific theme.

“This was my 1st visit to San Francisco on my birthday! Hidive was welcoming, with great staff, good drinks, and a great bar top food menu! Started the day out there with margaritas, and stopped back in for some wings and a nightcap at the end of the day. It was great!“

“Absolutely love that Harrington's is back! This used to be my favorite weekday happy hour spot when I worked in the neighborhood. Now it's my go-to for a proper Guinness and good vibes.

Bartenders are very friendly, and the pub grub is always great.
Favorites are their cobb salad, wings, rueben eggrolls, or the patty melt when it's on the menu.

They also have a killer wine selection, which I didn't expect in an Irish bar. The Andrew Will red blend is really good!“

“Love Lemon Drop! Came here after a long day at work and the bartender Brandon hooked it up with good drinks, music, and vibes. But the star of the show here is the food, there’s a hidden gem in the kitchen. The lemon pepper wings are the best I’ve ever had, and the burger is incredible. This place is an underrated Bay Area staple.“

We got the smash burgers and they were very tasty and filling—lots of grilled onions for an onion lover such as myself. The garlic fries had plenty of Parmesan cheese and very crispy. “We live 5 min away and Overlook is a great easy place to grab dinner in the Berkeley hills. The staff was quite knowledgeable on the beer on tap. And the atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. We're definitely making this a regular go to place for meals.“

“Checked out Candlestick Sports Bar mainly to play pool, and it was a good time. One game is $2, or you can get three games for $5, which feels fair.

The pool table is in good shape. The space around them is a bit tight, so a few shots can be tricky, but nothing that takes away from the fun. It’s the kind of place where you can just relax, play a few games with friends, and unwind.

“This spot is definitely your old school neighborhood bar where everyone knows each other. I was there for a bday celebration.... it was cool for a random eveing. They had kareoke and one pool table. Cocktails seemed to ok for the crowd; no quality wine selections for me so it was a dry night. Overall the music made it was enjoyable.“

“We celebrated with a price fix menu for New Year's Eve celebration. The food and the service was good, overall, but the server misunderstood my husbands dish, and ordered a different dish, it took a long time for his dinner to arrive, I ended up eating by myself. He's salmon was overcooked. The ambiance was not festive at all, the live music selection was very sad and slow. The decorations were great and the props too. We took great pictures for the occasion. Overall we had a good time. We will return but not to celebrate New Year's Eve.“
