The last time I was here. Umm was some where around 2009-2010. My girl savvy used to work there. She no longer there. I was like a regular. Come in for drinks food and of course had to bring out my peeps for the karaoke..lol. The food was okay. I'd stick to the same items every time. The beef and scallions skewer. Bacon & asparagus. Wow! maybe the best Chinese food in Oakland! This place is a true hidden gem in JLS. It's very unassuming from the outside, but the inside is super cute, well decorated, and has a full bar The portions are huge & perfect for sharing. Had a bunch of the kebabs - bacon wrapped eggplant was probably my favorite, dark meat chicken, and cumin lamb was the least good one. So this place has become a fav of my household. We eat take from here at least 2 a week and we dine in once every 2 months. We came here for a bday party in one of the private karaoke rooms. And from the experience to the food we feel in love. We haven't been back to the private rooms but the dinning area is just as cool.. we get the same thing because it's so good.. which is the garlic noodles w/chicken fried rice no veggies and shrimp, shrimp skewers chicken skewers and popcorn...read full review
