Best Asian food in California! We had a lovely experience. Amira was an amazing server! If you are looking for amazing food in a great atmosphere, this is the place to go! Beautiful spot in downtown Oakland. Also, OCEANFRONT!!
Dragon Gate is the best Asian cuisine in the East Bay. The food is amazing, with highlights like the C33 Green Beans with Lamb and K2 Garlic Noodles. The interior design is immersive and cozy, creating a warm atmosphere for diners. The service is quick and attentive, with staff going out of their way to make guests feel welcome and cared for. The restaurant has now moved to a larger building at the waters edge, offering great views of the bay from the dining area. The vibe is different from the previous location but still retains the quality of the food. Parking can be validated at the nearby parking structure, or small boats can be parked for free for 4 hours at the nearby public dock. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the experience. Overall, Dragon Gate provides a welcoming environment with fantastic Asian dishes, making it a top choice in Oakland.
