I don't normally do reviews of hotel restaurants; however, this will be the exception. While the hotel, even with an upgraded room, feels older, is still a very nice place considering it's in Oakland, the restaurant is superb. As a frequent traveler to Oakland Airport, you have little choice with the on-site restaurant and the food choices. I know times are tough and staffing is an issue but every time I've visited they're short handed. They're all polite and attentive but always running themselves ragged. Atmosphere is fine in the evening with sports on the tvs in the bar. The bartender is phenomenal and polite.

A menu to satisfy most tastes with some delightful surprises. Will try the zero-proof blood orange spritz on another occasion. Fish tacos were delicious, as was the quinoa salad. Staff was welcoming and attentive.
