Guilin Rice Noodles Reviews
Great value for delicious food. Limited menu but definitely worth a try.
Real authentic Guilin stuff.
My hubby ordered A1 dry noodle and I ordered B2, hot and sour noodle soup. It was definitely very hot (temperature hot) and sour from the bamboo shoots. We both enjoyed our food, but what I'm still thinking about is the sauteed lettuce with garlic sauce. It sounds so simple, but absolutely delicious - I ended up scarfing it down.

Guilin Rice Noodles is a wonderful tasty and reasonably priced noodle place on the edge of Oakland Chinatown, so parking is not hard to find. Seating is very spacious, and there is a clean bathroom, making it a good place to go with a young family. The flavor is very authentic, as the owner/chef is from Guilin. Best pickled long beans in Guilin mifen, she pickles them herself; they are crunchier and fresher than store bought. Meat is high quality and cooked very well, with the skin on the pork extremely crispy.
A1 House Special Pot-Roasted Guilin Rice Noodles with marinated beef, beef tripe, and crispy pork is a popular choice, with generous portions and very affordable prices. The crispy pork and beef tripe toppings are favorites, though the dish can be a bit greasy, balanced by a bowl of clear broth. The sauteed lettuce with garlic sauce is simple but absolutely delicious. A complimentary monk fruit drink has an interesting sweetness that hits after swallowing, with a slight medicinal lingering taste. Try the hot pepper mix on each table, refreshing and spicy. The A4 dry noodle is also very good, especially with the dried chili sauce.
