This place is so cute and food is great! I especially likes their chicken and waffles brunch item. So good and tasty. I will definitely come back for more since I live around the corner. I really hope this small reatuarant is successful despite the location. Oh and service staff were so friendly and awesome too!! :)
Hidden gem in the Hoover Foster/ West Oakland!!! Feels like a genuine Ma/Pa diner! Atmosphere: Small and tight space like the rest of The Bay but feels homelike, warm, and welcoming. Service: relatively quick, helpful, and good. I ordered homestyle potatoes with chimichurri instead of French fries but they messed up and brought out both. One of the best breakfast /brunches in the Bay Area, and so very undercover. This is an unassuming storefront on Market, not far off of San Pablo. With a bright interior, pretty artwork on the walls and a great ongoing r&b soundtrack spanning 40 years, this has a casual, comforting ambiance. Family owned, and ... very true to the Bay... raising/growing much of the food that is served, this is farm to table at a very intimate level.
