“The restaurant itself is not in the best location, and the interior and bathroom isn't the best. But we went in and were welcomed so warmly for dinner when the place wasn't busy. We got the chicken biryani, garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala. The biryani is one of the best I have ever had in the US and the garlic naan was perfect and fluffy but crispy. The chicken tikka masala was creamy, not overcooked, and well seasoned. The best Indian restaurant we went to in East Bay. Would come again.“

“Visiting a friend I was craving indian food and this place hit the spot. Parking was easy and directly across the street. Slid in for dinner on Monday, service was prompt, portions were reasonably priced, and I can't wait to try try the rose lassi next time.“

“Food is great. Service is prompt. Place is clean. We tried malai boti roll , samosa, and chicken tikka fries. They are generous with chatnis. Chai was lovely. Nutella paratha was a great fusion twist. The Owner is very attentive. Will highly recommend this place if you are visiting Berkeley, you must try this place.“

“This restaurant food is much more better than other Pakistani Indian restaurants all around the US. Chicken biryani & seekh kabob was so delicious authentic Pakistani flavor specially the Tea which is so so so good like Pakistani famous Pathan’s tea and we never had an experience before this in US. The best thing is they make in front of us so the quality of the food is so fresh and yummy like your own kitchen.“

“First time visiting San Francisco and this restaurant. Very busy for a Friday night. Our waiter, Rahil P., was so nice and helpful in picking out food.
Amazing decor and atmosphere. Very well lit.
We ordered the Desi chicken wings, the mixed platter, and fire fries with chicken. The mixed platter included chicken boti, beef boti, tandoori chicken, and lamb chops. Food was amazing. Very flavorful. Kashmiri chai served on Fridays and Saturdays.
I would highly recommend to anyone visiting San Francisco.“

“This is one of the best Indian/Pakistani restaurants in San Francisco. The neighborhood is on the bad side at night, but no one bothers you.
We had the lamb biryani, chicken biryani, and goat kadahi. Amazing flavor and delicious. It is a small place and you have to order on your own.
Highly recommend for great authentic food.“

“Love this new spot in Oakland. Came from SF to try-it out. Great small plate food options for family style eating, really well balanced cocktails and super friendly staff. It’ll be my new meetup spot for any shows at the Fox. There is also a door at the back that leads into a separate space , darker lit speakeasy called moon glow.“
