“Quick review: Hamachi Spoon? Flavor bomb. Garlic noodles? Divine. Pork belly lettuce wraps? Sumptuous. Salt and pepper wings? Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and flavored to perfection. Miso Sea Bass? Eye rolling. I don't live in the Bay Area, but when I'm there, you'll find me at Saucy Oakland. What a gem!“

“Really tasty and inventive. Loved the yum pla muk..think that was my fave. Choo chee was also delicious though the baseline is a bit sweet. But don’t worry - I asked for a side of chilies and it was perfect!
More people need to come here! It’s real cute inside but atmosphere was a bit lacking since it was so empty!“

“Cool place (love the decor/style), nice staff & tasty food. Some dishes you will not find in the average Thai restaurant in the Bay Area. For example, the chef or owner is from northern Thailand so the menu features a top Northern Thai dish - Kao Soi noodle soup (beef or chicken), or the all time fav 'street food' grilled pork skewers (moo ping) served with sticky rice (ck out the menu on their website). I had the Pad Kemao Chicken (menu says beef but they are happy to make dishes with what you like & even have Beyond Meat dishes on the menu - cool to see stir fried basil with Beyond Meat (Krapao Beyond Neur)). The taste of my wok fried pad kemao was delicious, same or better than any I've had on prior trips to Bangkok. Glad to have discovered a solid Thai restaurant that doesn't have watered down flavors. Good to see they have a lot of gluten free and vegan choices on the menu too. Definitely will be back, keep up the good work!“

“Oh how I miss Anchalee! Beautiful cozy decor and the food is amazing. I have great memories of this place. Time to make my way back to enjoy.“
“The Burma Love team has knocked another one out of the park with Kayah and we were already fans of their other restaurants! Every dish we have ever tried is a winner and it is no different at Kayah.
The food was delicious, flavorful, and unique. The ceviche was delicate, light, and a lovely balance of tangy and savory flavors. The calamari was not breaded and fried but grilled with a touch of chili crunch to give it that crispy texture--yum! The split pea fritters were an unexpected favorite melding sweetness and heat. The fried prawns were lightly breaded, spicy, and flavorful and the puffed rice under the shrimp was a welcome crispy treat. The platha was as good as ever. Off the charcoal grill, we enjoyed the very delicious baby trumpet mushrooms and ribeye wagyu skewers--our server recommended them and they are now a must! The fiery mango spicy tequila cocktail was on point.
The staff were attentive, prompt, and courteous and the overall service was excellent. The ambience and design of the restaurant are inviting and aesthetic, effortlessly and harmoniously blending zen and cool vibes.
We dined on the outdoor patio and it's fun being right on the West Plaza of Chase Center. I highly recommend Kayah and look forward to our next dining experience there!“
“The pizza was oddly delicious. The ginger molasses cookies were a great dessert snack I enjoy later during the day with coffee. Service was above what I've seen lately. Very helpful, cheerful smile and patient to my many questions. Will be coming back for more.“

“Staff are nice and the bowl is good.
It’s a popular restaurant here so it might be flooded with students around lunch time, and the waiting time might be longer during peak hours.
Only things is that the tips is mandatory as there’s no other option when you order through the pad.
Also, since they’re generous with their sauce, if you don’t like too much sauce, choose “sauce on the side” option and not mix in. ?

“Loved this place. Really enjoyed the food and the kindness of the workers. The meal is healthy, affordable, and filling. Most of the time I find that healthy food comes in very small portions and I don’t get full. And most fast food is super unhealthy. I’ll definitely be ordering again!“

“This review is just for the Sichuan Hot Chicken which I've eaten twice. Overall it's pretty good, but it's not great, and I really want it to be great. In concept this is a really thoughtful and well-executed sandwich. It has great veggies and really crisp, juicy chicken. It reminds me of what I had in the night markets in Taiwan. The breading is good too, although I feel it could be a bit thicker.
Where it falls short for me is in flavor. The Sichuan spices are there, but they are overpowered by the sheer amount of chili powder and salt that the chicken is breaded in. I was looking for more in the sauce as well - honestly maybe just adding more sauce would accomplish that. If I could get more of that peppercorn flavor, less salt, and more sauce, I think it'd be a 10/10.“
