Philz Coffee is a fantastic coffee house with fantastic service. The employees are incredibly friendly and willing to help, providing easy ordering and delicious coffee. The atmosphere is comfy and inviting, perfect for bringing a laptop or tablet to work or draw. The store smells amazing and offers water and dog treats. Customers enjoy the bright interior decor and unique art, as well as the convenient location inside a shopping plaza. It's probably the biggest and nicest Philz in the East Bay, open late for those who want to get more work done. The seating area has great vibes, making it a wonderful place to grab a cup of coffee and hang out either inside or outside. Many love the Philtered Soul with cream and sugar, and the mini banana bread is also a popular treat.
