Decent coffee. A lot of young/alternative staff that give your typical too cool for school attitude. Authentic Bay Area coffee experience!

Red Bay Coffee offers great coffee and a unique atmosphere. The drinks are awkwardly great, with the Candied Yam drink being a standout. The space is cozy, but it is very small with no seating inside, making it a good grab & go local spot. Due to a previous robbery, there is no cash payment option, as the location prioritizes safety. The quality of coffee surpasses that of Starbucks, making it a worthwhile stop. The staff are friendly and always take the time to answer questions, and they make their syrups in-house, which customers appreciate. The dirty chai latte and vanilla latte are delicious, with the perfect balance of sweetness. Overall, Red Bay Coffee is a cute little shop in Oakland that is well worth a visit.
