Griot was so tasty: crispy, juicy and savory all at once. Totally mouthwatering: I ordered at lunch then ate the leftovers for dinner. A big plate of food with rice and beans and pikles, not too spicy, just right. Table service was excellent. Spacious patio on the corner of Swan’s marketplace, a pleasant place to spend an hour after Farmer’s Market.
I absolutely loved this place! Ordered grilled oysters and was not disappointed. Last time I ate something tasty like this was in New Orleans. I strongly recommend this restaurant for quality food. It is not cheap but it is worth every penny.
Great experience at T’chaka, we were sat immediately and provided our drinks. We were able to talk with the chef personally about the food and recommendations and I chose the Griot (pork bites). They were fantastic and reminiscent of pork carnitas bites from Hispanic cooking, not entirely cooked super tender but semi firm chunks with super delicious and crisp exterior.
