My son had a basketball tournament in town and in between games - I decided to stop by and pick up some pastries for my parents, boyfriend's parents, and son. Delicious! Stopped in for a try and LOVE IT ALL! I'm a cookie fanatic- the Oatmeal Raisin and the Chocolate Chip are so delicious (a better version of homemade which is hard to beat!) Coffee- they have their own roast! I like dark roast on the chocolaty side- not sour as some of the new beans are. Their coffee is EXACTLY what good coffee tastes like- bold, smooth, chocolaty! Wild Rabbit is the most underrated bakery in Oakland. Seriously, their pastries are just out of this world! They might not look fancy, but when you grab your first bite, you can taste the level of craftsmanship and technique that went into making them. I don’t normally like biscuits, but theirs are soft, smooth, buttery, and they melt in your mouth. Simply put, one of best bakeries in Oakland. (They only downside is that they only open on weekends ?)
