After my Jiu Jitsu lesson at Growth Mindset Collective, which is just up the street from this donut shop, I like to grab a donut from here.“

“They get 5 stars for being inconsiderate and unempathetic business owners. Their pastries are overly sweet, lack flavor, and are overloaded with sugar. I used to visit with my husband, eager to support the new Paris Baguette in Brentwood, hoping for the same great service as their San Jose location. However, the pastries here look stale, and the service is terrible. I don't blame the employees; it's clearly a management issue.

The safety standards are also poor—I injured my finger and ruined my nail due to a lack of safety locks on their drawers(posted video on yelp - https://yelp.to/dVMYOEhcQ9). I’m so sad to find out that my nails are forever ruined. My husband tried to reach out to management but was completely ignored (I attached his review; this is how they treat their customers—no response, not even an apology!). Horrible food, terrible service, and unsafe conditions! I do not recommend this location to anyone, especially considering their unsafe and unhealthy practices.

I recently discovered another place called Dore’s Cafe if you are looking for high-quality pastries. Their strawberry cream cake and Napoleon pastries are a thousand times better than those here, with just the right amount of sweetness. I'm still exploring more of their offerings, but they are already proving to be a much better choice.

Vegetarian options: Do not recommend

Kid-friendliness: This place has some serious safety concerns. Be extra careful when opening the pastry doors as it smashed my finger really badly, and the owners were completely indifferent when I brought this up. No apology! I wouldn't recommend this location due to safety hazards and irresponsible franchise owners/management. Plus, the pastries taste old and bland compared to other locations. If you want to try Paris Baguette, go to Dublin or Concord. The ambiance, food, service, and selection are far better.

For a great local alternative, try Dore's Cafe. Their pastries are superior with less sweetness. I posted video on my other yelp review of those drawers - https://yelp.to/dVMYOEhcQ9 So if an adult can get hurt by those, definitely not suitable for kids.“

“Today, I went in with my daughter and didn't know they didn't take cash. One employee, just came up and said don't worry and bought my baby's drink. I was having a long day and totally forget about my scan pay lol. That was so sweet of her. She was a sweet young lady with glasses, wish I caught her name. All the employees were very nice. I told my daughter about kindness and told her to give the employee her $10 and tell her thank you. The employee said "no, it's okay". I just wanna say thanks. “Veronica didn’t look at me, like Barista’s do at the outside Starbucks, when you ask for something specific. She said “let’s try it!” She put her own SUPER SECRET SPIN on the drink and it was HANDS DOWN the best frapp I’ve ever had! I called it V’s BB Sweet Cream Frap! Yes, the drink was great but the customer service that I got was way cool. I felt like I was joking with one of my “girls”! So DOUBLE PROPS for Veronica, her low key old school approach to customer service and her MAD BARISTA INVENTION SKILL!
Also, I’m so used to people looking down on me. I have an autoimmune disease that has slowly over the last 7 years taken my teeth. After losing my excellent dental insurance it was very hard to keep up with the deterioration over the years. I don’t go out, take pictures or even attempt dating because of the judgement I do receive when I’m out in public. I get it, I’m guilty of it too. I appreciate employees like Veronica who give me some normalcy when I take the chance, leave the house and interact with the world! I’m sure she had no idea what doing her job correctly, could do for this 52 year old single mom! Thanks for more than just the coffee Veronica!“

“Callahan's is such a gem! Just got a gingerbread latte, a baby vanilla cone and a half pint of PB&J ice cream ❣️ I don't think they get enough recognition for their constant flavor rotations, amazing creativity and the love that goes into their products. From ice cream pies, ice cream sandwiches, freeze-dried candies. We are so lucky to have them in disco!

“We(especially our kids) love sip and scoop. We have visited for ice cream, come in for coffee, used them for catering and even used their ice cream cart at our daughter’s birthday party. The staff is wonderful and their product is great. We will be back again soon!“

In 2021, we moved across the US and I was so sad that there wasn’t one out here. In March 2023 my husband went home on business and drove 45 minutes out of his way to bring me some home!
