The seared ahi was perfectly cooked and simply delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the oysters, which were fresh and accompanied by a fantastic sauce on the side. The laid-back vibe and friendly service made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

“Great place to go and forget about everyday problems. Bar crowd immediately welcomes you in and there are no status symbols or titles. Everyone is treated equal. Better than going to a therapist. Drinks are memorable with Casey or Randy (Owner) slinging the beverages. The bonus is you can bring in your own food. Whether it be a bag of chips or a fancy meal no judgement is there. Service animals are welcome too. Life is normal here and definitely I will be coming back to find a new happy space.“

The event sales manager, Amber, had great recommendations for our event and was so helpful with any questions I had about the space, timeline and logistics, and anything else I could think of. The bartenders, Bianca and John, were so friendly and professional and my family and friends had only good things to say about the food, drinks, and overall service! The event went by smoothly, everyone was having a good time, and I was able to focus on the things I had planned. The Agave Room is separated by curtains from the rest of the restaurant, but felt very private and we were able to have our own music and games without disturbing the rest of the place. The place itself is very clean. You order your food and drink 1st. Then they will bring you the food. The drinks are self serve. You can try all the drinks before you decide which one you like.

I had the BBQ chicken w/mac n cheese and sweet potatoes fries. You have 2 options for your sides. These are my sides.

My sister had the Chicken w/brown rice and squash. Our cuzin had a chicken burger w/squash.

Everything was good. I would come back and try something else.

I wish I had gotten our waitress name, but she was so incredibly sweet & had a wonderful personality. We came to get sushi after my dad's chemotherapy appointment & she was accommodating for him. The little things mattered so much.

“Overall 4star at best. Went for a date night to experience the Dia de los muertos fixed menu and it was pretty underwhelming. Cocktails are great. Tacos are very good but too damn small. Guac is excellent. Chile relleno very good. Service was atrocious though. Servers were hustling but booked too many patrons with short staff. Owner apologized and made it right by giving us a gift card to come back, which we will. Most times we come service is good. May have been homecoming weekend or something, seemed like an unusually large crowd Saturday night.
Keep making tweeks with the staff, menu and food to get those ratings higher. You guys are on the most prominent corner in downtown you have to stand up to that challenge and be the best. Ambiance and decor have that wow factor now the food and service need to catch up. Good luck.“

“That's a great place if you wanna hang out and watch the games. was packed by 10:30am on a Sunday morning. My kids enjoyed all the sandwiches drinks whatever came through our table of 20. they're not a breakfast place thats for sure, not many choices. we had a pretty large group and most of our breakfast was cold. the waitress kicked butt, she was really good and very sweet. the guys helping deliver the food not happy looked overwhelmed.. Refills well we had to keep on asking...“
