We got in and got seated it took forever for a waiter which still did not show, we were about to leave but the host noticed us and he came and took our order. Food was mediocre at best and the service definitely wasn't there. When the food was served my wife got served 5 to 8 minutes before I did. I thought the food should come at the same time. I probably will not visit this establishment again.
It is very loud, they pump club music like a rave, food was decent, very lively place for sure but not a place you can have a conversation with anyone
We made the reservation for 6 people but ended up with 7. Manny very graciously added the 7th for us. My 98 year old mother wanted decaf, which they didn't have but allowed us to bring in one from another vendor. The food and drinks were fabulous! We ordered birria quesadillas, tacos & burrito, crunch roll sushi, cheese quesadilla, chicken & pastor tacos; all were delicious! We will definitely go back! Manny was the best!
Restaurante Tapatío offers a variety of tasty and tender meat dishes, including tacos, burritos, and plates. The restaurant is known for using high-quality ingredients and providing good portions at fair prices. While the seating may be close together, the service is praised for being attentive and efficient. However, those who prefer a quieter atmosphere may want to arrive before 10:30 PM, as the restaurant is known for its lively Banda music.
The restaurant has received mixed reviews, with one customer describing their experience as "solid" and mentioning the tripa, pastor, lengua, and cabeza tacos, as well as the pepino drink. Another customer, who has been visiting the restaurant for over 20 years, was disappointed with the reduced portion of the shrimp cocktail. However, a third customer had a positive experience, praising the delicious food and drinks, including the birria quesadillas, tacos, burrito, and crunch roll sushi, and noting the excellent service provided by Manny.
