“I lived in the area on and off for over 25 years. This is the first time ever coming here. I was walking in blind, I knew nobody here and knew nothing about this place. Driven past hundreds of times but never stop. First impression was awesome. Great environment and atmosphere with the tavern. Everyone was cool and fun and very welcoming of me being there. Sammy the bartender was awesome. Very attentive to my drinks and everyone’s else’s drinks , knowledgeable on what he’s serving, and just a friendly attitude towards everyone there. Awesome local spot to get some great beers and wines. They have darts, a shuffle board table, and a digital jukebox to play your favorite tunes. I would definitely recommend the Beachcomber Tavern to anyone that is local, traveling through or the vacation rental people. I will definitely be back myself.“

“My husband and I came out to Ventura for a small beach trip, and let me say that this was THE HIGHLIGHT of the trip. The Cave’s atmosphere was amazing. It successfully gave a cozy, friendly/romantic cave feel. The outdoor eating area was bright, roomy, and seemed comfortable as well! The live music and dim lighting added to the ambiance. I could stay there for days trying their many different and well priced menu items. The meat offered was top notch and was cooked to perfection. The sides complimented the food extraordinarily and left little to be desired. The wine choices there varied and made it incredibly easy for consumers to try different kinds before making their pick. To top it all off, the dessert options were to die for! Many, many different choices for any kind of occasion or desire. The staff were very kind and welcoming. There were many hello’s when walking in the door, our waitress, Rachel, was absolutely outstanding and would highly recommend requesting her service if I were you. She was very friendly, had amazing small talk, and she clearly loved her job a lot. I will always recommend The Cave to anyone in the area. It truly would be a loss to miss out on an experience as memorable as The Cave.“

“Exceptional service, incredible food, cozy and nestled environment and KID FREE (21+ only). We ordered the garlic bread to start (definitely a nice bite to hold you over for the main dishes, if you don't want anything too filling). For dinner, we ordered pasta which is clearly made with all the heavenly cheeses. If you're a chocolate lover, the dessert is for YOU! Forgot what it was called, but it was like a chocolate cake with ganache and more chocolate and I cannot explain how delicious it was. It's not some milk chocolate cake, so don't be fooled by all the chocolate. Cannot wait to return here and enjoy another wonderful dinner!“

The owners are fabulous - so warm and welcoming. Felt a kinship to them immediately. We would highly recommend everyone to try them. You won’t be disappointed.“

“I have visited The Cave twice, a week apart. The first time was for a wine pairing dinner, which we did with another couple. There were 5 courses (appetizer, salad, two entree courses, and dessert) and each dish was delicious. We decided to return a week later to see if it would be as good for just an ordinary night out. The restaurant was not too busy (it was a Tuesday) but each of the dishes we enjoyed was well prepared and very good. We ordered the Macadamia Crusted Salmon, a chicken special stuffed with goat cheese and spinach, and another chicken dish. The restaurant is attached to a wine shop, and if you don't want to sample wines by the ounce or order wine off the restaurant list, you can go into the shop and choose from literally hundreds of wines at all price points and then bring the bottle into the restaurant where they will serve the wine for a very minimal ($10) corkage fee. Done be put off by its location in an industrial park. This place is a gem! Inside it looks like a wine cave and they usually have some quiet live music at dinner time. This is definitely one of the better dinner spots in Ventura!“

“Pasta on demand! Honestly a hidden gem. Nice place to get all your Italian favorites. Service makes you feel like you are being served at a traditional restaurant. Food is arguably better than Olive Garden for a fraction of the price. Definitely coming pack.“

“Didn’t eat, just had a beer while I wait to get a hair cut. Just before noon, I got the last seat at the bar. Quite a few tables inside with a few couples enjoying the elbow room.

Bartender was super friendly and helped me choose a tasty beer I surprisingly haven’t had yet. Patrons were very friendly as well. Small chit chat but respecting my introvertness.

“We had a great dinner at Prime for my birthday. We love the food & service. The only issue we had is we were charged $6 for club soda! I honestly feel this is way too much to charge a customer. We also sat at the table in front of the fireplace, it was raining & windy out, but the exit area in the patio where we were seated was the only area not covered from the cooler weather & the heater was broken. Luckily the fireplace kept a few of us warm but everyone else was cold. We would've moved but we were a party of 6 & had already ordered drinks and apps. & didn't want to get up and move.“
