My family and I have eaten a shotgun in Pasadena for over 35 years. I surprised my wife and took her here for Valentine's Day and we had a delightful evening. However, The noise level is extremely high. And I ordered the Waygu steak, which wasn't very tender and disappointing. Service was excellent and my wife enjoyed her meal.
We had such great experience with the new waiter in training named Will. He is doing a phenomenal job, very efficient and a nice guy. Food was good, chef was hilarious and service was great.
To start off i would say a lot of restaurants have been lacking quality service, NOT shogun. Food was great as well. I wanna give a shout out to Ruben too for showing us outstanding customer service. DEFINITELY will be back!!
