“Shasta County has a few examples of multi genre food restraunts. They're kind of the precursor to the whole fusion thing. Papi's offers Mexican, American and Chinese food and honestly does a good job at all three. Great place to get food for a big group. They have a drive through and you can order inside which is nice when you have a big vehicle that won't fit through the driveway. Gets busy when the high school is out. I have never eaten anything there that I didn't like and they are reasonably priced and you definitely a good value for what you pay .

Kid-friendliness: Small place but always friendly and welcoming. They have a variety of food so if you have a kid that wants a burrito, another that wants a hambuger and you want chicken teriyaki than this is the place for you. All of the different options are definitely good and makes for an easy one stop shop for a family.“

“Absolutely delicious. Hands down one of the best places I've had in redding. Very reasonable prices for what you get. Server was excellent. Very conversational and helped us a lot figuring out what we wanted because it was our first time there.
Best nachos I've ever had, got them with pork.

“Jamie, our server, was a sight for sore eyes. Food was plentiful and fairly priced. As to the gourmet aspect in regard to their omelette preparations, let’s just say a little above average. Coffee Mugs cool looking, coffee quality slightly above average to be nice.
They have their own personable place, and apparently many glowing reviews. Does it beat Denny’s? No doubt. Black Bear yes.
Will I stop by again, doubtful. Service right on the money. 4 Stars.“

“I've never sat at a fast food window and thought '"God that smells amazing". The smell of the food coming through the window was so enticing. I got the Polish Torpedo and Mom's Potato Salad. The Polish Torpedo was awesome. The potato salad is really good too, could use more olives and pickles, but that's just my personal taste. I can see going here more often“

“My boyfriend and I had breakfast together. I had the pancake sandwich with bacon and a side of the country potatoes. My egg was over medium. He had two eggs with sausage links, country potatoes and an English muffin.

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing the food was! My egg was cooked perfectly. The bacon was not under or overcooked. The country potatoes were absolutely delicious. Get the onions and bell peppers added. They rocked. My pancakes were fluffy and light. The warm syrup reminded me of how my dad did breakfast when I was a kid.

Oh, and the coffee, I almost forgot about the coffee. It was so tasty. Like how can regular coffee be so good?

The waitress was on the ball. Warming the coffee, checking as needed but not hovering. Super lady and great at her job.

This is our new, favorite place. ❤️

“I was instantly greeted by a friendly waitress who let me pick my place to eat. Drink was out fast and was ready to order food. I ordered the firecracker fish tacos, which came out timely. They were delicious, probably the best I've had. Was a very pleasant dinner but pretty pricey.“

“Debbie was our server. She rocks. It was our first time there. We don't like crowds, and so for whatever reason there wasn't really any customers, so that was a plus. Apparently, according to other reviews, the wait times were awful before and food not so good, but that all got turned around, I suppose, because the food was pretty good and we got our dishes quick. It was a very pleasant experience, made possible by good decor, good chow, and the best service I have ever had. We have eaten all over Las Vegas, Orange County, and across the nation even so much as to Mississippi, Alabama, Texas and Washington D.C. at places fancy and common. Tell you the truth: nobody does customer service in a restaurant as genuine as our server. Cook came out last second, seemed nice, and we got to say a quick word of approval. Only one waitress, manager assistanting. Three tables, two pickups all done in a timely manner. Order placed and received correctly, fairly quick.
Food was good! Not burnt, greasy or under cooked.
We had crepes, biscuits and gravy, hash browns with eggs. ( biscuits and gravy off of value meal. Great size for child).
Establishment was clean, quiet and efficient.
Will we return? Yes at some time in the future.

Dietary restrictions: Not sure...most places do try to accommodate

Parking: Location is just off the freeway.
Near s ok me other shopping including gas.
