“1st time eating here , I came with one of my coworkers and all I can say the guy who helped us is very nice, prepared our dishes very fast, I had the lula kabob wrap, huge wrap btw and very delicious I couldn't finish all, just half, my coworker got the combination kabob, I'm looking forward to go again , I highly recommend this place

Parking: Is a small parking lot , plus is not parking only for magma, there are other shops“

The portions are generous, offering excellent value for the price. My two kids love the beef lule kebab plate—it’s big enough for them to share, with leftovers to spare. As someone who eats mostly vegan, I really appreciate the variety of plant-based options. I’ve tried the falafel plate, falafel wrap, veggie wrap, and several appetizers—all have been flavorful and satisfying. Highly recommend!“

My wife had the chicken kabob plate and I had the beef plate. They were very tasty. Even the rice was very flavorful. My favorite was the beef shish kabob. It was tender with really good flavor.

“What a Great Find! First time there and Junior took time to explain the whole menu to us. He also prepared the Delicious meal! We tried the chicken kabob, Shawarama, rice, Mediterranean salad, and hummus with pita bread. Fantastic meal!!! We also watched him prepare a Wrap which was Huge. We definitely be back!!! This great little place is located in the CVS shopping center on Hollywood Way and Verdugo.“

“Luna Grill was looking real clean when I walked in, so off to a good start. Ordered the chicken and beef kabob plate...solid portion for the price. Flavors were nice, but the beef leaned a little salty. Now, about those metal chairs… rock hard. Felt like I was sitting on a slab of concrete. A little padding wouldn’t hurt. Food was good, though, so I’d come back...just maybe seat on the booth next time.“

“Delicious sandwiches/wraps. My group tried the bens way gyro and the chicken delight. She made the meal as fast as she could and they turned out great. The large pita and hummus wasnt available at the time, so she made the medium. The pitas and hummus were top notch. Competitive pricing for sandwiches of this quality in the area.“

“Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. “Came on a Saturday to enjoy Mediterranean BBQ. Staff was amicable, a little slow in serving and taking orders and came to our table with someone else's order. I would highly recommend they do a number system (assign table number to customers for staff to reduce confusion). It was decent food, spices and grilled veggies were good. Chicken was a little thick and hard to cook all the way through those meats. Steak was a bit dry. Seasoned fries and hummus, Pita bread was good. Ambiance was settle, no music or noises. A little pricy but portions are good. Clean establishment. Parking can be a little tight in the parking lot.“

“This is the first time I have ever been to one of the Bacari locations. This one, in Sherman Oaks, is excellent. My daughter, Lauren, picked this restaurant. I was surprised, because Lauren usually picks out more expensive restaurants.

Bacari is a tapas type restaurant. The prices are reasonable because the portions, and the plates, are small. They recommended ordering three plates per person.

We ordered one plate for each of us and a Margarita pizza to share. The pizza was excellent. I had the Bacari burger. It was amazing. My wife had sea bass, and our daughter had a filet. We all enjoyed our meals.

Service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. In this restaurant, they bring out each plate as it's ready. That encourages people to share and socialize.

The restaurant was quite noisy inside. They have a nice little courtyard with outdoor seating. It was slightly less noisy in the outdoor courtyard.

For people who want to lose weight and still have delicious meals, I recommend Bacari Sherman Oaks.“

“This review is to show that tahini was added to our uber eats delivery order when we said no to tahini (spoke with the person on the phone and was told that upload pictures for proof. uber eats told me to speak to the restaurant directly). “The service was VERY friendly. My server, and several others, greeted me with genuine smiles. Started with Warak Enab Dolma/Sarma (stuffed grape leaves), which were excellent. They are the non-vinegar type which I much prefer, firm with plenty of rich olive oil. Then the Sea Bass entrée. Two full filets traditionally seasoned, a large salad, and potatoes. The tomatoes are perfect! Beautiful tea service. Very quaint atmosphere, friendly staff with genuine smiles, everything well presented. Will definitely be back. FYI: Ample free parking on the roof, enter on Western Ave (Petco).“

“Gladys is a gem. Friendly, welcoming, sweet. She took my order and as always efficient. When I went in to pick up my meal, which has been a very regular occurrence, she was on a break. I asked the young lady taking my money to thrown in some pickled as I always do. She was staring at the register and after a time I asked if I could swipe my card. She explained that the pickles had charged when only with a bowl. I mentioned that it’s never been mentioned and said she would speak to Gladys about that. That is NOT what you tell a customer when you can’t figure out how to enter it and make them wait. I asked to speak with a manager and she proudly announced that she was one of the ones in charge. She proceeded to further explain about the charge, but she would give me one this time. It’s not the money, but a friendly welcome with a smile would have been preferred. Every other employee is fabulous, but I suggest that this person gets advised on customer service. There are other establishments with food and for that matter other Zankou’s. Here’s to Gladys for doing a great job!“

“Wooooowwww such a gem of a find! I was hungry looking for a kebab and came across A&V. The warmth and hospitality I encountered were when walking in from A&V was amazing! They explained everything patiently when I asked what to order.

I ended up selecting a chicken shawarma plate and soup and wooooow it was the best chicken shawarma I’ve had in SoCal and I’ve tried a loooot of shwarma places. The chicken was cooked fresh over a charcoal grill infusing it with so much smoke and flavor only a charbroiled cooker can have.

The combination of everything in the soft lavash was sooooo delicious and super generous in terms of portions! I could only eat half of it. Another main highlight are the potatoes! While most kebab places just give fries, A&V hand cut their fires and infused them with garlic oil and cilantro which paired super well with the shwarma.

I would whole heartedly again here again for a shwarma fix.

Even paired it with an Armenian tarragon soda to wash down the deliciousness, amazing!“
