“My wife got us some buffalo fries and they were out of this world! The fries alone are delicious, and I was a bit skeptical as to what some buffalo tender pieces and ranch on top would do, but that's what took it over the top. She also got me some chicken tenders, which I feel were the Atomic flavor because my mouth is still on fire 10 minutes after eating three of them. Highly recommend this place.“

“First I want to say that the customer service was on point! I felt welcomed and heard which is a big deal. I don't eat meat - just fish and when I told the guy making my food that, he was so nice about changing his gloves and taking the precautions that made me feel comfortable. That's a big deal for me because there are places that are very rude and take offense to me addressing their cross contamination practices. Anyway for the food, my wrap was so delicious! It tasted fresh and had a lot of veggies which I appreciate. It also came with some garlic fries which I wasn't expecting and they were bomb! I got a wrap and fries for $13 bucks smh that's unheard of this day and time AND it was delicious and fresh... I will definitely be back!! Only thing I wish I had was some spicy tahini sauce to pour on my wrap, that would have been a game changer forreal.“

“Grain Café Van Nuys is creative LA California cuisine/Mexican/Central American food. They will work with you to figure out particular dietary requirements/restrictions. This branch is in a space that used to be a single family dwelling, although hasn't been used that way for decades. So you still have a homey environment to eat in. It just adds to the warm experience. Recommended highly!“

“I came in today in a full blown hunger meltdown I was welcomed and accepted by the sweetest man who pretty much held my hand through the menu and helped me pick out some things for me to scarf like an actual goblin. IM SO HAPPY I stumbled across this place. It was delicious from the wraps to the grape leaves and even the hummus!!! Thank you so much random sweet man. 10/10“

“Last week I was searching for a Mediterranean restaurant that had good food but also doesn't take too long for my food to be ready. I got the beef kabob and fries with pita bread. The food was great and the customer service was on point. The gentleman that helped charge me for my pickup order was very polite and helpful! He also gave me some extra pita bread they had on the house! Highly recommend you check this place out.“

“This is such a cute spot, I had my reservations, as I am a neighbourhood resident and I had heard not-so-great stuff, but upon going in for my first time, I was recommended a fantastic shake, and I also got a wrap. The boys, both working the counter and the back were the sweetest people, the service was fast, and the food was fantastic. Honestly, I can't give this place enough praises. 10/10“

“Wow! I have to thank my friend for turning me on to Black Rabbit Cafe. This gem is located inside Abyss Market. I frequent this store after work, so the food cafe is closed when I come here. I was off of work today, and am I glad I ordered the BLAT. Bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato sandwich. It was THE best sandwich I've ever had. Perfect ratio! I'll be back to try more delicious food.“

“When my business partner bit into the kebeh that we ordered he made a face of delight that I’ve never seen him make before. I laughed out loud. He said, “This is the best kebeh I’ve ever had” and I said, “I can tell!” He was right. What a beautiful experience it was to dine at Sumac. This place is special. This isn’t just authentic Lebanese food, it’s curated recipes from Lebanese Mom and Grandma and Great Grandma, or at least that’s what I imagined. “I've started a subscription order from Everytable and I pick it up at this location in Hollywood every Monday. I have to say, for the price I was very skeptical. Other meal services I've tried are twice the price. But it turns out, this place is the real deal. The food is high quality and tastes great. And the staff that I've encountered at this location have all been extremely nice and helpful.My only complaint--and it's really more of a suggestion--is that I wish they'd offer more "high protein" options, even if they have to be a little more expensive. I think they'd be a hit, especially here in LA. In the meantime, at least they do offer salmon and chicken breast a la carte to supplement any meal.Other than that, this place is practically perfect for me and my lifestyle, not to mention their mission to make affordable, quality food accessible to everyone is about as noble a pursuit as I can think of, especially in the ridiculously wealth-stratified Los Angeles area.“

“Honestly, Zanku has always been og. They’ve been a staple before any of the other Armenian/Mediterranean joints….this location has been around a long time. The last time I had them their chicken was very dry, it was so bad it took a couple of years for me to come back to this location. I was in the mood for a Lule Kabob so got the #16 combo (chicken and Beef) and the Falafel special which came w 2 falafel, lettuce and tahini (peep the pic) If you are a light eater (like myself) this is enough for 2 portions! The customer service was very good, the place was very busy on a Sunday around 2pm. Small rice portions and I wanted the pickled radish but was given the cucumber salad instead. “I was shopping all day and was famished. I wanted to keep shopping so I decided to get something that I could walk around with. All over the Hollywood shopping complex, there were pictures of these taquitos in a cup with guacamole so I had to check them out.I went over Tacos Neza which is tucked in the corner of the mall. It was closing time but the staff was super nice and still served me. I told them I wanted to walk and eat and they said this taquito dish would be good for me.Even though the place was closing people were still coming to enjoy the food and ambiance. I walked throughout the shops with my taquitos which were a little too crunchy for my taste but still good and the guacamole was delicious. I will definitely be back here next time I'm shopping. “I ordered the Thai lettuce wraps through Uber eats and the lettuce was left out so I called and left a message not expecting much... but they returned my call quickly and set up a new order to be delivered. They gave me a whole new order of the lettuce wraps with extra lettuce for my original order as well as an extra brownie and cookies. “This was the first time I had been to the new location. It is beautiful. Especially in comparison to the old place. It's bright and airy, and the high ceiling makes it feel very comfortable.When I ordered online, it was very convenient. I didn't check the bag, though. I got home, and the falafel wrap was missing. I called and told them that. Miriam was very nice because I told her I was in the South Bay. She said that was fine and I could pick it up the next day! I did, and it was great.Vegetarian options: I'm not sure if they are strictly vegetarian options. However, if that's what you're looking for, you can definitely find some satisfying dishes.“

“Ordered the Chinese chicken salad. Mashed potatoes and the coconut cookie. Everything was delicious, the order was made quickly and the service was good. They really have turned the restaurant into take out only. I miss the pre pandemic days when we could eat inside, I know they save on labor by not having as many workers but it was such a nice dinning experience.“
