“Went here for the first time a couple of days ago. I was so happy to see how easy parking is then the selection. We ate in the little courtyard there. The v staff was so nice and when I realized something was forgotten to be put in our bag, my son went in to ask about it. She gave us an extra bagel as an an apology for forgetting it. That was so nice..and delicious 😋! I appreciate it! Thank you so much. Everything we had was delicious. Pizza bagel, brisket sandwich on a bagel (hash brown toast) and a turkey cheese sandwich on a plan bagel. Plus a jalapeño cheese bagel. We will definitely be going back now that we know what parking is like and how easy it is to get there.“

Except for when I want the cucumber bagel from Honey Donuts (yes).

Honestly, if I were more of a bagel person on the reg I’d give it 5 stars.

My favourite topping that I’ve tried so far is by FAR the egg salad… then the lox with cream cheese. The #8 I could honestly live without, but I can see it fitting a specific mood.“

“I ordered an open face MCB on gluten free everything bagel with vegan cream cheese which was delicious. My husband ordered a white fish salad bagel on an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese which he enjoyed. We also ordered a generous side of pickles. The coffee was solid too. The interior is well designed and the booths offer cozy, private seating.“

“This place has great breakfast sandwiches and bagels! I love little local neighborhood spots like this. Not touristy and prices are reasonable. We came back the next day because it was so good. Limited seating.“

“Good price bagels that are decently portioned. Would recommend going with a group to try a few different versions. My favorite were the bacon and habanero stuffed bagels.

Friendly, clean, and reasonable priced considering most food trucks price their items like they are supporting a huge brick and mortar operation. I love coming here for the breakfast burrito with a coffee. Plenty of parking in the lot they park at. Same as where Elio's Pizza truck parks at night if you're familiar.“

“I tried Einstein Bros for the first time and it’s become my absolute favorite 🤩
I love the avocado, egg and tomato or the bacon avocado. It’s delicious. The hash browns are good too. But alittle small. Coffee could be a bit warmer. But overall I love this place and I think it’s been a great addition to Monterey park. Wish they’d open in the evenings. 😇“

“For me, this is a top 5 LA coffee shop because it’s solid and straightforward. Great latte, cold brew, and drip coffee. Laidback ambiance and no pretentious energy. Delicious pastries and cute trinkets for purchase. Staff have always been friendly. Parking isn’t necessary hard to find but I rarely get a spot right in front…just gotta do a lap or two.“

“This place is a gem! I got a breakfast croissant and a coffee for only $14. The croissant was really good — not dry at all, very flavorful. And the Vietnamese coffee was only $4, served in a huge cup, and it tasted amazing. I really wish more people knew about this spot. Thank you!“

“Best donuts in the area by far! The new owners are an awesome and friendly young family that bake everything fresh and with skill. We moved a little farther away recently and still come back to this location because we love it so much. I highly recommend the tiger tail.“

“Just a great family-owned shop. They’ve got some of the best donuts I have ever had. I am from San Francisco, and I can tell you, these donuts are better than any I have had in the city. Their sandwiches are a great size, especially for the price. $12 for a hot cup of coffee, huge sandwich with all the fixings, side of hot chilis and a large, perfectly fried glazed donut. I wish this family could have a location everywhere. Best of luck to their business!“

“Mexes Cafe is a cute, quaint and dainty spot that really eminates with the essence of la familia y tradicion. I appreciate the vibe because it really reminds me of home. The art and the ambience really call to me and I have to give it a high recommendation without even talking about the drinks and food yet. On that note, I had pupusas and two lattes, one of which was a mazapan latte and the other was the horchata latte. I loved the fact that you could choose your own design on the latte. The mazapan latte, literally had such a nostalgic feel because it tastes exactly like the de la rosa candy. As for the horchata latte, you can never go wrong with that. It was very sweet, with that coffee undertone to make a great balance. I genuinely recommend visiting this spot because if you are in the mood for good vibes and good times!“
