“I’d been meaning to try Maury’s for a long time and finally made it.

Everything tasted fresh and exactly what I expected from a good bagel shop. I had the Lox open and really enjoyed it.

Coffee was good too. I always wish places served a bigger cup, but it did the job.

One thing that really stood out was how fast everything was. Ordered, got my food, and was eating within minutes. I appreciate that.

There are only outdoor tables, so don’t count on getting a seat if it’s busy. Also no restroom or sink, so come with clean hands.

They also have refrigerators with juices, smoked salmon, pickles, and other things to take home.

Definitely a place I’ll come back to and try more of the menu.“

I got the Evil Steve on a jalapeños cheddar bagel for brunch and it was perhaps the best brunch bagel of my life ! The combination of slightly spicy pepper jam with tangy goat cheese smear and delicious smoked turkey wrapped in the jalapeño cheese bagel is extraordinary. Best part was the crunchy and crispy shallots to add that final profile in an already special bagel . Out of this world good .

They are also offering a gluten free bagel which is also rare to see .

If Layla were to ever expand to other states they would have a huge following.

The Noodle Koogle is delicious as well. Not overly sweet creamy inside which crunchy noodle bits on top.“

First time ever having flavoured coffee without it being flavoured from a sweet syrup. “This spot is where the Coffee Bean used to be on Wilshire and Western. It’s a fairly new spot everything is clean and in its place. The menu is huge but everything sounds delicious. I ordered the chicken BLT and I love it. The owner and staff were so inviting and kind to me. They helped me pick what Would help soothe my craving for something delicious and savory.
