Based on the reviews, Lunasia Pasadena is a restaurant with amazing food, best enjoyed family style. The aesthetic and ambiance is beautiful, with a huge pond right when you walk in and an astonishing grand piano in the back. The table layout has plenty of tables in the center and private dining rooms around the perimeter. Favorite dishes include Peking Duck, Honey Walnut Shrimp, the Black Pepper Filet, Har Gow, and the filet mignon with pepper. The soup dumplings and BBQ pork bao are great starters, and the beef rice noodle roll is a favorite appetizer. The food is very delicious and consistent with the original location. The service is very friendly and helpful, though some reviews note the staff is just getting used to the new place. The prices are very reasonable for the area. The new location is a more upscale experience with nice high ceilings and modern design. Parking is a bit tough.
