“The food was delicious, the service excellent, the establishment was clean, portions generous, and cost affordable. We ordered chow mein, fish with black bean sauce, and Mongolian beef. It's not Chinese fast food, it's a sit down restaurant. Surprised it wasn't crowded as the food is delicious. The location is a little non-descript but street parking was easy. I live in Gardena and although there are several Chinese restaurants, none are good. This was a lucky find as restaurant reviews in general tend to result in a bad choice.“

“It almost got a 5 star review but we had a few hiccups in the beginning. The restaurant opens at 11am. My family arrived around 11:15am and the front doors were locked. We ran into some kitchen workers and they told us maybe another 30 minutes before their boss came with the key. We eventually got inside and they were slow to get our order. I eventually just wrote out what dishes we wanted. I would avoid the water here if you eat in. The interior is fairly small and very basic. They have some seating inside and we were a party of 7 including 2 kids. Other than that, the food itself is amazing. We knew it probably would have been better to get our food to go but my mom's place doesn't have enough seating. We ordered the pepper beef, orange chicken, chow fun with beef, house fried rice, and some dim sum dishes for the kids we literally have nothing negative to say about the food. My mom and sister even ordered from them again the following week.“

“Delicious food and good service. Casual cozy vibe. Delicious bacon egg and cheddar croissant served all day. My favorite. Never get the muffins here. Absolutely terrible. Cold dry and every muffin tastes like corn no matter what flavor. Plenty of seating in and outside.“

“Very unique and interesting flavor, but still delicious! Be prepared for your mouth to tingle and go numb from the spice 😛 I enjoyed the vibes here. I got the cold noodles and the noodle soup, both worth a try. Cold noodles taste really good, very rich, creamy and hearty flavor 😋 staff is really kind and explain the menu well. I would come back and try other things off the menu too.“

“We had a wonderful experience here!! Service was 10/10 and they helped make my friend’s birthday memorable. The ramen is delicious - not too salty or oily or heavy, and the broth is super tasty. This establishment has a rich history; ask the servers!
Thank you to Mija, our server, for an amazing experience!“

“This place deserves every bit of five stars. No matter what you order, the food is absolutely delicious. Every dish is flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care.
What impressed me even more than the food was the service. The staff are incredibly attentive, friendly, and well-coordinated. Their teamwork and efficiency make the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Everything arrived quickly, the restaurant was very clean, and the atmosphere felt welcoming.
Finding a place like this on a Sunday afternoon truly felt like a little moment of happiness. Great food, great service, and a great experience overall. I will definitely be coming back! ★★★★★“

“Original, wonderfully unique items, brought a random group of friends, and everybody loved everything, that is very rare.
They have something for everyone, and will make any of the items that are already available in other forms, such as items with me to they can replace with vegetarian options, or sandwiches presented as just salads without the bread.
Big slabs of salmon for those that enjoy“

“Attended this restaurant for a late lunch. I enjoyed my time dining, very clean, they play Korean music. Definitely a place to bring friends or family to share food portions, I feel as if the price is justified due to the portion. Food + Drink about $40 per person. Soju berry highball is the perfect sweetness. Will come back to show my family this place 😄I really liked the kimchi! Below attached photo of bulgogi hot dish, as you may observe it's served in a traditional stone pot.

“I enjoyed this place a lot. It was a little bit hard to find at first, as it is located above the supermarket. The server was very friendly, helping me to find a good vegetarian option. The cold sesame noodles were tasty and refreshing, and the price is not bad ($8.99). The dining area is spacious and comfortable.“

“This new location seems smaller than their previous spot. Doesn't seem they're fully set up yet as we got disposable bowls for rice and individual disposable cups for hot tea ($1.50 per person).
Food is still consistent though! Mushroom in brown sauce ($12.95), vege fish in brown sauce ($12.50), and tofu pumpkin hot pot ($12.95) are still good choices and they're all on the lunch special menu!
Surface level parking in the plaza gets congested very easily, so try the 2 levels of underground parking for more spots.“

“Very great food and good service. Good decor and there is lots of parking outside. Only downside is the menu is only in Korean but just use google translate.
I like how peaceful it is. It gave me the time and quiet to finally think about the social economic state of the world right now. Food is fire.“

“Nem Nướng Khánh Hoà is widely praised for its authentic Vietnamese cuisine and warm atmosphere. The restaurant’s specialty is nem nuong cuon, a dish of grilled pork meatballs wrapped in rice paper and served with fresh herbs and vegetables. The dish stands out for its flavorful, fresh grilled pork and the crunchy texture of the accompanying ingredients“

“Went there for breakfast around 10am and it was nice and empty. Food came out fast and tasted good. Came with a lot of basil and cilantro. They have an extensive menu. Only downside is the parking directly behind the restaurant is limited to 5-6 spots. If it’s full you have to park in the parking garage“

“Literally the best Japanese Curry House in all of the United States. Doesn't cost a fortune, service is amazing, it's Japanese-American but you feel like you're getting the same service you would get in Japan and a kitchen staff are very attentive and communicative. I had no idea this was here literally my whole adult life and now I go weekly.“

“Their Tan Tan Men Ramen are the best! I love how I have the opportunity to customize our ground meat choices (I.e. ground pork or ground chicken). Topped with nori, baby bok choy, bean sprouts, hard-boiled egg, and ground meat, the ramen have the perfect flavor. Their chicken karaage were the best too!“

“🍖 Soy-Braised Beef Ribs
Big bowl with 4–5 huge ribs, super flavorful. Braised until fall-off-the-bone tender — honestly, you barely need to chew. Great portion for a family of three, and only $30.
🍲 Beef & Offal Soup with Noodles
Very generous with the beef. Rich, comforting broth that’s not too salty. Comes with noodles and is super warming — kids loved this one.
🥣 Hangover Soup
Went for the spicy version. Deep, comforting flavor, with tender pork. Very warming.
❤️ Most soups are just a little over $10 and come with rice and side dishes.
🦐 Marinated Raw Shrimp
A pleasant surprise — fresh, sweet, slightly reminiscent of Ningbo-style shrimp. Only $8.
✨ Nothing fancy, just solid, home-style dishes.
✨ Great value for money.“

“Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. And ordering was very easy since you do it through a QR code but you can also ask for a menu and order that way as well. Food came within 10 to 15 minutes and everything was very hot and fresh. The meat pies were really hot and filled with yummy juices. The scallion pancakes were very very yummy. I highly recommend getting the cucumbers. Service was decent but don't be expecting conversations from these ladies. They bring you your food and that's about it. I can't wait to come back and the prices are so worth it.“

“lovely little eatery, not too busy at 1pm on a Wednesday. great selection of teas. we ordered wonton soup (very filling and hearty), gyudon (delicious and sweetly savoury), and white peony tea (crisp and refreshingly light!) will definitely come again. i appreciate the plastic dividers between tables - good to see that a business still cares about privacy and COVID consciousness in a small space!“

“This is a hidden gem in the city of San Marino. Hidden amongst the tall trees along Huntington, you’ll drive right past it if you’re not paying close attention! Nonetheless-this place is clean, fresh, and friendly. The food is solid and the Cantonese tastes are spot on. It is the type of comfort food that will keep you coming back.“

“They were not joking when they called this comfort food. I was sick, and it was raining, so I wanted something warm and hearty. This place seemed like the obvious choice, and far exceeded my expectations. Food came out fast and blistering hot, but still perfect temperature to eat right away. It was somehow nostalgic, even though it was my first time trying this dish. The tofu was extremely soft, but held its shape well, and very flavorful from absorbing the liquid. It really felt like it cured by illness.
Portion size was also very generous, which is always important. The menu was also pretty varied, I could imagine coming back multiple times and trying something new each time.“

“Revisited this place after a few years and was happy to see they’ve reopened in Baldwin Park.
The highlight was definitely the handmade soup dumplings. The crab roe xiao long bao was juicy with plenty of soup, and I liked that they offer a non-sweet option. The larger crab roe soup dumpling was especially memorable—rich, savory, and very nostalgic, reminded me of ones I had growing up in Jiangsu.
We also tried the Wuxi-style pork ribs and crispy eel, both well done with classic flavors. Other dishes like the rice cakes and stir-fried greens were simple but satisfying.
Overall, it’s a solid spot for Jiangzhe-style comfort food. Prices are reasonable and quality feels consistent—worth a visit if you’re craving authentic flavors.“

“Not bad for an all you can eat hot pot, but a few more food selection would be nice on top of what they have. $37 is a bit much for the amount they have. They have two tiers. Premium and Prime. Prime is $53. The soy sauce they use at the sauce station is more salty than the other soy sauces I've had. One of the staff, younger girl kept messing up with the soup base orders for our table and another table's. It wasn't even busy at that time. It's nice they do birthday discounts. Free drinks and ice cream so that's also a plus. Would be nice if they had strawberry ice cream instead of double cookies and cream rubs. They should add pork blood rice cakes. Parking in the back can be limited.“
