“3.75 star overall. 2nd take-out visit two days in a row. Surprised at the portion and good taste given the overall 3 star review. My family was pretty satisfied with the taste and would return. Tastes authentic and do-able. 4.5 star food. On Both take out orders, the skewers felt a little cooler than I was expecting to be fresh off the grill. But the taste is good and portion is much larger than Little Skewers, so this alone makes it feel more worth it to return. 3 star service. Service was average typical China-Chinese, non-American style. Waited quite a long time to order take out as they seems to be busy & short staffed Friday night around 10 pm. Ordered again next evening on Saturday around 5:30 pm and barely any customers at that time so the order was fast. 3 star other. Friday night, the restaurant dining area and the whole plaza, in general, smells like cigarettes. So many smokers seem to hang out in that plaza at that time. Not a pleasant smell walking around. The restaurant also habitually leaves cardboard containers and boxes out on the walkway (right outside the restaurant kitchen door) which makes the restaurant look very China-ghetto. I wish they didn't do that. Is that even legal to be leaving trash out on the walkway like that? So the standard of cleanliness and organization brings down the restaurant a notch. Overall, I would return from time to time if I happen to feel like it.“
“I have tried a variety of items on the menu. A few of my favorites include the Al pastor nachos , caldo de pollo, torta de milanesa and the chicken tacos de canasta. You can’t go wrong with anything you choose. Irene and Jose are both really nice and will accommodate most requests.“

“I have mixed feelings about this place. While it has been my go to spot on rainy days this past season, it's been a hit or miss. Sometimes it's like the best pho ever and other times the meat is really undercooked and the broth wasn't hot enough to cook it further which resulted in a rather rubbery experience. “Best beef noodle soup that is sanitary! I say this because there are some very yummy shops in SGV for beef noodle soup but your stomach would not appreciate them. Really generous with the meat and tendons. The broth is amazing and tastes super authentic. There can be a wait if you come around noon on weekends where they get the lunch rush. I would come here right after they open to dodge the wait. I overheard roughly 30 minutes wait when I was leaving so not sure how bad it could get. They also accept Apple Pay, credit cards, debit cards, and obviously cash.I genuinely love this place!! They also have 椰果奶茶(coconut milk tea??) that tastes reminiscent of 五十嵐in Taiwan (50 lan/Wushiland, but the coconut drink isn’t sold in their US locations). A bit sweet but maybe they can adjust it down. I just watered mine down and it tasted great.“

It's not the usual fatty pork you'd get from other chinese food places, but it's delicious either way. Less fatty, but still full of flavor. Portion is what you paid for. Spicy level is true to what spicy is all about. Will come again to try their mapo tofu and kungfu boiled beef since from this simple dish alone it does look promising.“

“This is THE place to get popcorn chicken in the 626! I've been coming to P P Pop for awhile now and I have yet to have anything I didn't like. The popcorn chicken serving here is huge, and the chicken is really moist and flavorful. I get mild spice and it's pretty spicy imo! The beef noodle soup is also a favorite of mine. I love the chewiness of the noodles and the beef chunks always fall apart. The drinks are served in huuuge cups so that's also very worth the price. Service is always great and they're very comfortable speaking English.“

“One of my favorite Chinese restaurants for really great food. I believe this place is Michelin rated. I'm not surprised.My favorite is the crispy shrimp/prawns. They must use super hot oil to get the shrimp shells to be so light and crispy. You can eat the whole shrimp, shell, tail and all!Today, the 2 of us had the beef brisket with quail eggs and the zhajianmein, a noodle dish using black bean sauce. Both very good. Very flavorful.Good service.They have set a high bar. Many new restaurants are trying to outclass and outdo Bistro Na. I was surprised to get seating for 2 on a busy afternoon after church. Maybe the others are out trying the new contenders?“

The meat to rice ratio was perfect for my preference. The place is simplistic and clean. Random, but it was fun to see the steam rise from the clay pots every so often inside, and it feels like a huge humidifier. No issues at all with the service, our waitress was very kind to explain how to pick out and order the clay pot combos.“

It was nice to not have to wait for a while as the restaurant seemed busy. We placed our order online and not long after, our food started to arrive. Everything was delicious! We ordered a lot! Shumai, hargow, seafood pan fried noodles, salt and pepper suid, salt and pepper pork chops, orange chicken, shrimp eggrolls, pork soup dumplings, deep fried chicken wings, pork puff and sesame red bean balls. Everything was tasty and delicious! How you expect some food to be crunchy, they were crunchy! Those that are supposed to be moist and juicy, they were! The flavors of each item were on point! Can't stop talking about how good the food was. Prices are comparable to others. Servings were good portions. Service was friendly and efficient. The staff worked as a team and they took care of everyone that needed anything. The ambiance was also great. Modern and clean. They also have an upstairs so they can accommodate large groups. They are located in Pasadena on Colorado blvd. We parked at PCC for $15 and it was worth it. It was close to a mall and other restaurants. The place feels family owned and operated and this was reflected in the friendly, warm service. I came in on a cold evening, looking for some warm soup. So I ordered the beef noodle soup. I ended choosing the thinner, hand stretched noodles (as apposed to the thicker knife cut variety), because it seemed like it would go better in the soup. The noodles were very well done and chewy. Great texture to go along with the comforting spicy broth. I also ordered fish and leek dumplings. Great flavor and structure. I took most to go because the two dishes I ordered was a lot of food. I enjoyed the vibe here. While I was eating, there were two ladies preparing dumplings off to the side. It reminded me of my mom and aunt when I visit my parents. So there was a nostalgic factor. The overall portion is so large that two people can eat one bowl. Before came here, I looked at their menu and it had extensive and authentic flavors for dumplings and pies. That’s how I knew they were legit!!We came on a rainy Saturday around 11:30am there were only two other tables. I feel on a nice day it would be busier.For food we got:- pork scallion pie (5/5). Wowwwww a must try!! It was so juicy and flavorful. The outside is perfectly crispy. This is our favorite and we definitely will try other flavors next time.- pan fried chicken mushroom dumplings (5/5). I love the dumpling skin as you can taste the slightly chew and that’s how you know it’s handmade!- cucumber salad (5/5). Very refreshing and balance out the richness of all the fried dumplings.- pan fried bun (4/5). This is probably my least favorite although it’s still pretty good. It doesn’t have much juice as I thought it would like the pie. So I’ll stick with the pies next time.No fuss service. You order via QR code and food comes out around 10-15 minutes. They have a sign to explain the 15 min wait due to all handmade to order which is well worth it!! This has become our new go-to for weekend brunch.“
