This Starbucks on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena really stands out because it’s located on one of the cleanest and most well-kept streets in the area. The environment feels calm and organized, and everything inside is neatly displayed. The staff are low-key but genuinely friendly, not overly busy or chaotic like other locations. It’s also less crowded, and they always get the drinks right. Definitely one of the better Starbucks experiences around.
The staff is kind and professional. Had someone in line at register holding up everyone in line as she was complaining about the V on the menu and that the staff didn’t know vegan from vegetarian, cause they couldn’t read and needed to eat some meat to not be so hangry. Still the two ladies (Shellsea and Vanessa) stayed cool under pressure. Working here with so many types of personalities must be hard to stay professional. Good job ladies! I would come back when in the area!
I had the pleasure of being helped by Vanessa at the Starbucks inside Target on 777 E. Colorado in Pasadena, and she absolutely stood out. Despite a long line and being the only barista on duty, she handled the rush with incredible grace, speed, and a genuine smile. Vanessa has a rare quality in customer service — the kind of ownership and care you’d expect from someone who runs the whole company. Starbucks is lucky to have her!

Vanessa handled a rush as the only barista on duty with incredible speed and ownership. Shellsea was reassuring to a nervous customer and recommended new items, and her cup drawings were awesome. The banana bread matcha is a new favorite drink, and the new Pecan Shaken Oatmilk Latte is also a favorite. The staff always gets the drinks right, and it is less crowded than other locations. This is definitely one of the better Starbucks experiences around.
