Selena was amazing! We arrived with no reservation,we were told it would be 45 min wait,Selena piped in and offered the Courtyard and she would attend to us. Selena you were so accommodating and were so attentive. Thank you for your great and amazing service!! We will definitely be back! And ask for you again!
Awesome bar counter experience. Had the Taco Trio. Absolutely delicious! The rooftop atmosphere was grand and the DJ dropping the old school beats was totally on point. And all of this on a Tuesday. I can only imagine how lively it must be on a weekend.
Highly recommended this place for great food and fantastic drinks while in downtown Paseo Robles.

Highly recommend for a vibey late night dinner, hostess Lily was wonderful and Brittney at the bar made it a great experience

Esperanza on the Rooftop is a must-visit spot in downtown Paso Robles. The rooftop atmosphere is grand, with a DJ dropping old school beats and a lively vibe that makes it popular, especially on weekends. Guests have enjoyed the Taco Trio, calling it absolutely delicious, along with fantastic drinks and cocktails. The bar counter experience is awesome, with fast and friendly bartenders. The host and service are very nice and helpful, and one server was described as accommodating, attentive, and a total ray of sunshine who gave spot-on recommendations from the cocktail menu. However, some found the food to be average bar food, with the taco fillings tasty but the tortillas having a weird flavor, and the guacamole having too much lime and otherwise flat in flavor. The rooftop is nice, but not for great views. A tip: make a reservation unless happy grabbing a spot at the bar. Whether there for cocktails, a bite, or to soak in the rooftop atmosphere, Esperanza is highly recommended.
