Slow / Rush is a little shack offering great coffee. The atmosphere is super chill, perfect for a grab and go or to sit and vibe. There can be a lot of people, with the car line backing up to the street and a gang of walk-ups, which sometimes leads to a wait. On busy occasions, there may be only one person manning it, who can be clearly overwhelmed and overworked, though they handle themselves with composure and grace while making several different kinds of drinks.
The coffee is delicious, superb, and always served with a smile. Specific drinks like the PB&J coffee, a vanilla latte, and something mocha and espresso are mentioned as tasty, on point, and exactly what one needs. The seasonal drinks are fun and perfectly made. The staff is amicable and on their A game, providing customer service that is always 10 out of 10, adjusting drinks per preferences. It is a place that definitely deserves its stars, starting the day with a high point.
