“This review is for the Jilberto's by the roundabout leading in to Rincon.... Excellent food, especially the burritos.... Considering there are little to no eating places around this area, it's fortunate that's Jilibertos is so good.... Conveniently located next to a liquor store you can buy some lottos tix, or a six'r after you pick up your grub... ;) Lotta people traveling thru from Julian or Ocotillo Wells stop by this tasty Mexican joint enroute home... Some tables inside or grab it to go... Call in and it will be ready when you arrive (just make sure you call the right Jilibertos...(not the one by Pauma Casino).... Highly Recommend!“

“Overall, good food, however, for the caliber of restraunt and the price the service is lacking. Gordon may know how to cook, but he has dropped the ball on training his staff properly on high-end service.If my meal is $100+ a person. I definitely expect the entire experience to be taken to the next level. We've been here twice, and I can say the service was not bad. It just wasn't exceptional.The food has all been good. We've tried a ton on the menu and are yet to find anything we don't like. The prince of darkness cocktail has an amazing flavor that I would highly recommend trying if it sounds like your type of drink.The scallops are great and so is the wellington. Honestly, I think I've been more impressed with the appetite than anything. Every app we have had has been to die for.Overall, it was a good experience. I would just like to see the service elevated to the next level.“

“This is a casual little winery that's not located on a vineyard, but the wine selection was good and there was a good amount of space to enjoy a little picnic basket with our wine tasting. Staff was nice too. I recommend the red flight.“

“I received a free specialty pizza coupon from this restaurant so I had to go try it. This spot is small inside and nothing fancy for decor but the food I tried today was definitely 5 stars. I ordered the baked ziti with aurora sauce (alfredo and marinara) with meatballs added ($4) and it was excellent! The ricotta was creamy and smooth and the meatballs were so flavorful and soft. I also got chicken noodle soup which was simple but delicious. My boyfriend got the Italian sausage sub with pasta salad. The dressing on the pasta salad was so good and the sandwich was pretty big for $12. The break sticks that came were perfect on their own but you can't go wrong with a dip in that sauce, right? We ordered the Portino's special pizza to go and it was also good. While we ate we saw several people getting pizzas and other items to go. I will definitely come back to try the other pastas and possibly a meatball sub too! Thanks Portino's!“

“The food is AMAZING although the soda prices are uhh… questionable ( 2$ a soda ) it’s good the service there is amazing like the second you order it’s like you knew the man forever the food is good I usually get a coke and a cheese bread it’s a 7$ pretty cheap make sure to stop bye if you play Pokémon GO because there’s a poke stop right next to it! Perfect for catching a Pikachu although there prices a uhh different…. It’s worth it so CHECK IT OUT!“

“We came here after a job in the area and wow was it a great choice! You know when there's a small homestyle restaurant in an out of the way area it's gotta be good but wow, their fries are seasoned so perfect and the crispiness is delightful! I had the Ortega Bacon burger and it was out of this world! Really hoping we work in the area again soon because I'd love to try their other dishes like the catfish!“

“BEST kept secret of this casino!!! Been here multiple times and so disappointed not many people know of this brewery. Its across from the hotel unfortunately they are unable to advertise in the casino. They have karaoke Thursday and Sunday . Different events like UFC as well as food trucks on fri and sat. Looks like they have live bands sometimes . We enjoyed the karaoke host was awesome seems like lots of locals with some great voices. Beer prices for a pint $8 they also have 4 packs to go for $20 and swag for sale. Ambiance is casual and low key. They sell snacks like chips n nuts. Three large size tvs for sports and one HUGE one playing sports. Nice open patio with some games like corn hole. Definitely a place to hang have a few great tasting beers and some fun!“

“We had a great experiences all the way from Ryan the manager who arranged a special seating for 10 of us and checked on us regular. Brandi our server was on point and huddled to see that each and one was happy with wine , food and Service. No one had a bad comment I. “Located inside Pala Casino. Indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. Tons of TVs. Casual and loud sports bar atmosphere. Full service, sitdown restaurant. Fast and friendly service. They do not take reservations - walk ins only. There was a lot of availability during prime time on a night where the hotel was sold out, though, so you shouldn't have to worry. Three men split the wings, skins, and loaded fries. Each had a beer. Plenty of food and tasted great! Cost around $80 tax and tip included as of March 2024. If you're in the upper tier of their players privileges program, you can get a discount.“

“This has always been our favorite place to go among all the casino eateries in No. San Diego Co. The food and service has consistently been an outstanding experience. But last night my favorite offering, the Firecracker Shrimp, with it's fantastic glazing, crispiness and flavor was different. I've been ordering this appetizer for perhaps three years, at least once a month. My server, conscientious and friendly as always, mentioned there had been some changes in kitchen staff. “I was searching for some different food than the choices at Harrahs Casino and found Jilbertos. A true hold in the wall, but good variety of Mexican food with large portions at a reasonable price point. You can tell that this is a popular spot based on the number of locals eating here or getting takeout. I'll need to organize a party at the hotel so that I can order the monster burrito that looks like it will feed 20 people.“

“We were here on a week night and it wasn't very busy at all. We we did expect a bit more with the meal since it's a bit pricey. We still enjoyed meeting our friends here. The waiter was very good and he worked hard. The salad was very good!“

“Quaint small town restaurant. Food was great and served quickly. Went for the burger but got the prime rib Instead. The cut was great and medium rare was perfect. Served with a salad and baked Potatoe. No issues with the service as they were very attentive and were very accommodating to request's after food was served.“
