“One of my all time favorite restaurants, we drive almost three hours just to eat here. Worth it! The menu is unique, exciting, and delicious. The dishes always taste amazing and look stunning. I’m always impressed with every dish and the amount of effort I know goes into it. They never waver from their quality in both food, platting, and hospitality. This is a restaurant run by a family and you truly feel a part of it when you dine here. Support small businesses and eat here!!“

“Thresa and her staff have catered an event at the clubhouse and another in my home. In both cases the Hor d’oeuvres and service was excellent. The number of guests at the clubhouse exceeded the reservation and the staff accommodated easily and well. I received complements on the success of the event. The event in my home was very professional and the response for each request was taken care of quickly. I highly recommend The Oaks

“Penn Valley Northridge is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been too. The owner literally attempted to fight Steve infront of our son, threatened our family and attempted to sick a dog on him while he was trying to put our son in my car. Several customers came up to us and said they could not believe Carlos the owner just did that at his place of business. That man acts like he is untouchable and can treat people however he pleases, he reacted this way over a $10 credit to our tab after being over charged by his staff.“

“My daughter and I had breakfast the other day at the Daybreak Cafe in Penn Valley, California. There was plenty of seating available and we were greeted as we came in. The menu and daily specials offered were all very tasty. Our order was taken quickly and our food came out hot. The dishes we selected were both very good. There are clean bathrooms available and there is plenty of parking.“

“We ate dinner at Wild Eye Pub on a Monday. The pub was not crowded. We experienced a warm welcome from Beth the owner. Her husband, David, cooked our meal. The Fish & Chips and the Western Hamburger were delicious. We have eaten at several different restaurants in the area and the food and relaxing atmosphere at Wild Eye Pub is much better.“

“What a great place to eat after golf! The restaurant is located inside the Alta Sierra Country Club in Grass Valley. Visited today..may 18th..see receipt.
They have indoor and outdoor dining with a full bar. Very casual and relaxing!
I shared the build your burger with bacon and avocado along with fries. OMG..it was so delicious! The bun was nicely toasted and the burger was
perfect. The fries were golden and super crunchy..yum! We honestly were
not expecting the lunch to be soooo good! I had a bloody Mary ( they use Cirinos bloody Mary mix) and my friend had a beer on tap. The views are beautiful while dining! They have a
Pro shop and you can choose 9 or 18 holes (OPEN to the public!). They serve breakfast and lunch and weekend dinner specials. Both Jill (very sweet) and Jake were wonderful! We will be back again for a relaxing lunch with friends!“
