“Pleasantly surprised! I would make the drive again to this landmark restaurant! Large portions seem to be the theme. The aromatic shrimp is a show stopper! Absolutely delicious, not sure what they do to the broccoli on that plate but that was just as good as the shrimp! The prime rib was fantastic as well. Enjoyed and will be back.“
“I think this place deserves some more love. I been coming here for the last 13 years. People come here for the environment, quiet and clean, 5 stars. The food is average, nothing stands out and the selection is limited, 3 stars. The price has gone up quite a bit, 50% since pandemic, 3 stars. I would still recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to eat and mingle with family or friends, where you can all hear each other.“
“Commerce Casino in general is known for its poker games. It holds the title of biggest poker room in the world. Unlike other poker rooms, at commerce any given moment you will find multiple tables of every possible denomination/game type even i week ( no limit [1/2 -2/3-5/5+],Omaha, 3 card poker, blackjack, and largest selection of baccarat tables. I usually play no limit holdem mostly, regardless of what day of week or time, you can find multiple tabl es of each limit. While playing poker you have the option to order table side food. It is a wide selection of items, but mostly Asian cuisine. Secret menu item..not on menu (( tres leche cake warmed up with double scope of ice cream vanilla)). Thank me later Staff is cool, bartenders are very nice. I think they get BB for bonus Dealers is a good mix... 25% amazing. 25% good but seem to hate there job. 25% gold but don't speak English. “I wanted to share my recent experience at this fantastic restaurant. The ambiance was old-school sophisticated, and it felt like we were transported to a different era by the Bossanova songs playing in the background. The chill rhythm of the music made me feel like we were living in an episode of Mad Men, and I secretly hoped that the boy from Ipanema would show up at the table next to ours.What helped make it a truly memorable experience was the Monterey Chicken. I'd had it before but couldn't find it on the menu. Our server was confident the Chef would make it for me, and she was right.A chicken breast pounded thin with the lightest breading cooked to perfection. The light golden chicken filled the plate, supporting a hollandaise sauce that blanketed avocado and tomato wedges. Each bite of the chicken alone was a delight, with the slightly rough texture and buttery taste delighting my tongue. Alternating with bites that included the creamy, perfectly ripe avocado and then the crisp freshness of the tomato made sure my mouth didn't get bored.I wish I'd remembered to take a photo first because the eyes are the first step to enjoying a meal. And in this case, I pushed all other thoughts out of my head, leaving only that desire for the first bite...and then another and another.When you are looking for something lighter than beef, you won't be disappointed by this one.At some point, I will extend this review or add another if Google allows that.
