“This visit was my second time in 2 weeks. This time we celebrated my sister birthday. Couldn't think of a better place to celebrate this occasion. The New York was cooked perfectly rare. The scallops were amazing and sweet. The charcuterie plate was fantastic and of course the potatoes cooked and duck fat with the vinaigrette dressing fantastic. Couldn't have had a better evening if I tried. Oh, of course the best service in town.“

“Healthy, AYCE, good protein, tart frozen yogurt. That's all you need to know. Rumors say that UCLA food quality has been dropping, but getting swiped into Bplate, I'm happy to say the quality there is still top-notch. The night I went, there was sesame salmon and some chicken that was seasoned really well. I love Bplate for giving healthy protein options that don't taste bad. Since it's AYCE, you can literally get as much as you want. Can't complain about that. Aside from protein, I had a kelp pasta dish which made kelp not taste horrible. I was impressed. Lastly, I had a good helping of the tart frozen yogurt because who knows when I'll get swiped into Bplate again. You might think tart isn't that good, but please...it's AMAZING!! One thing I noticed this time is that Bplate had sriracha bottles available. The REAL, AUTHENTIC sriracha. Given the sriracha shortage, I find this really cool. But yeah, if someone is willing to swipe you into the UCLA dinning facilities, you should probably go to Bplate. You honestly can't go wrong. It will be packed though so be ready to wait in lines for protein.“
“Wow wow wow! If you’ve never been to this place, you’re missing out. Presentation is everything at this place. Talk about elegance, this is it. The way the food comes out like carnival and fair foods is amazing. The ambiance of this restaurant for one puts you into a good feeling. They have the best drinks also. Look at my videos and pictures. My wife took me for Valentine’s Day and I didn’t pay so I can’t tell you about the price but whatever it cost, it’s worth it. The service is 5 star. Big parties are more than welcome too. It’s really a fun environment or it can be sexy. Your choice.“
“The food and service was great. There wasnt a single thing I didn't like about the food. I had the 22oz Ribeye, medium rare, was cooked perfectly. Jumbo lobster tail was a little over done but still good grill flavor. Fries that were served looks like it was peeled off of 3 lbs of potatoes lol, just soooo much. All seasoned perfectly. My wife got the rack of lamb, with mash potatoes and sauteed asparagus. Lamb was cooked to a nice medium and was not all that gamey, real nice flavor. Again the seasoning of the sides were on point. Would definitely recommend you trying this place out if you haven't already. Definitely on the more expensive side of fine dining so it took me forever to get here but definitely worth the experience.“
“My girlfriend and I went to our second Valentine's dinner here last week. Not many places can pull off Valentines Day like Bistro 45 does. Everything came out timely and up to their usual standards. “Pasadena and downtown this last fortnight. Nostagic deliciousness @parkwaygrill, peerless steaks. Returning there for the fourth time - our first visit was in 1994. Last night we enjoyed @majordomola . Koreanish food, at it's best generous and full flavoured. Standouts include the pork shoulder, duck confit rice and the flambe(d) doughnuts.Next time we'll try their signature rib dish too. Take an appetite and lots of family. Also loved Houstons. “One of our favorite steak restaurants to celebrate special occasions. Must go on Tuesdays for their tomahawk Tuesday meal deal. Service is always on point and great atmosphere at this location. Lobster Mac and cheese is highly recommended. Porterhouse and tomahawk steaks are amazing and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this restaurant to celebrate that special occasion.“

“I think this place deserves some more love. I been coming here for the last 13 years. People come here for the environment, quiet and clean, 5 stars. The food is average, nothing stands out and the selection is limited, 3 stars. The price has gone up quite a bit, 50% since pandemic, 3 stars. I would still recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to eat and mingle with family or friends, where you can all hear each other.“
“Our server was helpful in deciding what we should order. Started with delicious arancini. We ordered cauliflower steak w/ a wonderful sauce underneath. Also got schwarma encased in homemade pita. Followed by donut holes that came to the table piping hot. We will be back!“
