“Our company had the pleasure of dining at Plate 88 last night. The warm and local atmosphere set the tone for what would be a great evening. A special shoutout goes to Mandy, our server and bartender for the night. Her joyful demeanor and accommodating nature made all the difference. Mandy went above and beyond to ensure that our entire group felt welcomed and taken care of. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she truly made our dinner not just a meal but an event. Whether it was mixing up a perfect cocktail or recommending the best dishes on the menu, Mandy was spot on every time. The food, of course, was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—but it was Mandy's service that really made our night stand out. She helped create an atmosphere of fun and relaxation, turning a regular company dinner into a memorable experience. We hope to be back, and we’ll be asking for Mandy when we do!“

“Little bit like traveling back in time to a diner both in terms of the atmosphere and menu. The staff were pleasant and working hard and the place was packed, but they still did a great job. The food was a little heavy, but considering a few of us ordered dishes with country gravy- they hit their mark.Chicken fried steak and country skillet were good...but the texture of bothe the fried steak and potatoes weren't as crispy as I'd prefer. On the whole, a nice spot and step up from a Denny's.“

“After almost 2 years returned to the Leger for a date night with my wife. Now, the new owners and the Management and Chef are what this town has needed to revive this treasure of a hotel and restaurant. The chef is a culinary dreamer and achiever who seems to be on the path of culinary enlightenment at the Hotel. All courses were layered with a passion and love for food that the Leger has never seen before. I loved the old chefs but they were armature at best of home BBQ kings. Johnathan is a Chef that has the gift that 99% of chefs wish they had. I recommend setting a reservation for a private dinner for 2 and let them take the wheel to create an experience, not just some dinner. Last night was a full circle moment that could have gone horribly wrong, but, not one thing can be complained about nor changed. A perfect evening and there will be more to come.“

“The steak was very tasty and cooked just the way I like it. The service was friendly and very good. Will go again next time I'm in town.
Parking: Located at the front of the entrance.
Kid-friendliness: They had a kids menu to color and a page. The chicken strips and french fries were devoured.
Wheelchair accessibility: The parking and entrance are flat for easy access.“
